Wear the shrunken sweater over maxi dresses! I know how sad it is to accidentally ruin a sweather. My (late) mum knit me one in her last years, and by washing it by hand it got very baggyand loose, so I washed it in the machine on 30°..it died. It got super small and pure felt. I still have it. Can't fit into it anymore.

For all knit materials/fabrics soak in warm or cold water (natural fibers...animal or plant fibers) or wash on the delicate cycle (man made. ..acrylic). Double spin after rinse to remove as much water as possible. Find a place that is large enough (such as a bed or drying rack or blocking foam mat) to stretch and pin down the item(s) and then air dry. Placing a small fan or small heater in the area you are using for this activity helps the items dry faster. Search for how to block knited or crochet items here on youtube as there are a good number of videos that show the process. However, if the item has felted there may be no rescue to be found. As a side note....its the movement that causes the majority of the felting so try to flaot/sink the item and do not twist to get rid of the water. I either blort with a towel or lay it on the bottom of the washer with some up the side of the tub (top load) and run 2 spin cycles. I only spin 1 or 2 pc at a time to avoid felting.

I think you should keep the green sweater for sure! and maybe consider a green t-shirt and green scarf! Green suits you, with your skin and hair colour. I have a similar skin tone and brown shade of hair, and I wear a lot of green! Summer here in Australia. So lots of loose green dresses. and when it’s cooler I often wear leggings and a long sleeve top under a dress and a cropped jumper and scarf and even jacket over the top. with boots. Did you buy your blundstones brand new?

Yep I don't know how you do it..here we get to around -10°c at worst, and I wear thermal leggins or woolen tights underneath my pants. And so many warm layers on top, including woolen/silken grandma cami at the very bottom. Only wear t shirts after +25°C

I really loved this video! I’ve been wanting to have a capsule wardrobe for a while now.. I already decluttered my clothes but I feel I still own to many things and I haven’t really found my style yet. I waited because I recently had my first baby and I knew my body was going to change.. in fact I don’t really have any good pair of pants that fit me anymore, except of sweatpants (which is all I’ve been wearing). Your video just made me want to go through my closet and get rid of anything I haven’t been using and that doesn’t really feel like “me”. I just wish there were secondhand stores where I live so that I could make some changes in my wardrobe without having to break the bank... I really love your style and I’m also very drawn to earthy warm colors, so you can imagine how I’d love to just steal everything from you lol I’d love to watch a summer capsule wardrobe!

I just wanted to quick pop down here just in case you ever find yourself in the "I have a new sweater and I don't know how to wash it" panic moment again because I work in textiles and costume construction and if it's wool you honestly don't need to Actually wash it. If you have a wool item and hang it out to air with some potpourri or lavender sachets and the nature of the fiber allows it to, in essence, clean itself (assuming the problem isn't a large stain in which case handwashing is always going to be the best bet). Granted, I don't know what that particular sweater is made of, but hopefully this is helpful anyway!
