One of the biggest reason why I HATE family vloggers is because they profit off of invading their children’s privacy. So much respect for you.

I love how you have thought about not having Eloise in videos when she gets to school age. Though I know we will all miss her! I'm a tiny bud in this KZbin space and currently pregnant with my first. I'm also considering a lot of our child's privacy and not many youtubers talk about it. So I'm glad you did 😊

BTW: I LOVE YOUR STYLE!!! I think it suites your personality (from what we an see) to the T! One of the reasons I love your channel is because its so calm and serene and cozy (if that makes sense) and I think your "aesthetic" has so much to do with that. Being YOU Is very important. I never understood why some people feel SO INCLINED to give out their opinions.. Really.. Sending much love from VA! ❤❤❤❤

I love what you said about wanting your children to mix with people of other faiths. It’s such a nice way of doing it, explaining your beliefs to your children will form a much better relationship than forcing it upon them ❤️❤️ love this video 💞

I really can't imagine you getting frustrated/snapping/etc. for some reason, but none the less, I really appreciate your honesty about stuff like that, that's one of the things that really makes me like you a lot. You're just really down to earth and honest and real and that's pretty rare these days, I think. It takes a LOT to get me angry/frustrated, but it does happen and I try really hard to not be grumpy in front of my little one, and even though she can't talk yet, I always tell her I'm sorry if I curse in front of her or get angry about something. Also, your dedication to your faith is so inspiring to me. I really like how comfortable you are talking about it. I'm trying so hard to be a better Christian and get my remaining sin under control a little better, and you really inspire me in that department.

@@VJ-rr5do How is it even saving if you get married that ridiculously young. But that's the thing people get married before even being actual adults, so they don't have to "wait"
@VJ-rr5do
@VJ-rr5do 4 жыл бұрын
@@chiraine1 I saved myself even though I had the option not to. Just because we were young doesn't mean we couldn't have slept with someone before or with each other before we were married. Legally we were adults when we got married and now are living a wonderful life with each other! Everyone has a different age that is right for them to get married at. We personally knew it was the right time. That doesn't mean everyone should get married that young though! We in the end wanted to honor God with our minds and bodies and we ended up doing that! I don't regret a thing! 🙂

I recently did a study over Genesis and my mind was completely BLOWN! I had never studied it in the same way as I did this time around and I learned so much! It was insane. I found such comfort in the fact that no matter how much sin I fall into, I still won’t mess up God’s plan or his grace toward me! It was such a beautiful time in my studying and I have a much deeper appreciation of the Old Testament now!

You're style has honestly had a big impact on my own style. I never even knew how much I love earth tones until I came across your channel. It's a route I never thought about taking. I always struggled with what color scheme would work best for me. And to be honest, earth tones are so easy to combine, they are gentle for the eyes and look very aesthetically pleasing. I'm loving my current wardrobe thanks to you.

I love that you want your children to be friends with people of other faiths! As a kid, I went to Catholic schools and my parents really only allowed me to be friends with people of the same religious/political beliefs as them. As someone who has very different beliefs as my parents, I know I would have loved to have more diverse friends and incorporate different perspectives at a young age. You're doing an amazing job as a mother, keep it up!

Height twinsies! I'm 5'1, almost 5'2 as well. To add on about body confidence: Our bodies are constantly changing and you shouldn't compare yourself to your previous self or anybody else. Our diets and activity levels change. Hormones fluctuate. We age. We get pregnant. We bloat from eating too much chinese take-out. If you're constantly analyzing your body, of course you're going to feel insecure. We're ever-changing beings. Accept yourself for who you are today and better yourself for tomorrow. @kenedideutschman6242
@kenedideutschman6242 4 жыл бұрын
@@choosnau I'm curious about that too. I've noticed that Delilah and I have very similar beliefs and Christian backgrounds (we both come from Mennonite families) and what I was taught growing up was that we welcome everyone regardless of belief and that they are to be respected if they are worthy of respect. The Bible teaches that Jesus walked and ate with sinners, but he did not act or do what the sinners did. In modern terms, Jesus spent time with and valued people with different beliefs and/or values but did not act in what they did or do what they believed if he didn't believe it in his heart! So growing up I learned that I am to welcome and respect people regardless of belief but that I shouldn't indulge myself in things that I do not hold to be true or that would be of immoral value (and I mean in anything, not just religion, like if a kid pressured me to smoke I wouldn't smoke because I know that it is bad for my health, likewise I wouldn't pray to multiple gods in a different religion if I do not believe in that religion, but I would definitely and absolutely respect and spend time with the people who do because they are worthy of love!!) I hope that helps, at least from another point of view. Of course, I can't speak for Delilah!

It really interests me too. Tbh I'm Jewish and i love watching Delilah's videos. even tho i don't particularly identify with Christian beliefs i do identify with family values ( which obviously exists in most religion) and the value of love which is very prominent in her videos. As a really non religious people i do believe people are more than their religion. Even tho ur religion is a certain part of you your humanity and heart are the most important. Plus most people will not try to convert you, just be friendly.

The way you dress yourself, and your kids, has actually changed the way I think about clothes. It has opened my eyes to being more mindful and selective regarding pieces I purchase, rather than the constant cycle of trends in fast fashion. It is so simple, but I have never thought about sticking to a colour or tone range, but your wardrobe opened my eyes to that possibility. It has changed the way I feel about my clothing and makes it less stressful for me to plan outfits. (I also am drawn to natural earth tones most of the time, but felt pressure from images around me to wear bright colours... and to not be the girl who always wears "that" colour/tone, but it never felt 100% comfortable).I feel like this is something that people don't tend to do, especially when it comes to children/baby clothes. I am also an introvert... so that could also be why I'm drawn to the calmness and comforting earth tones rather than "non-ignorable" bright colours. 😅

Psych undergrad here! During puberty (approx ages 13-21) the brain is going through a lot of development. The brain's "gas pedal," aka the amygdala, is pressed to the /floor/ and it basically means you are being driven by your limbic system, aka your emotions, rather than rational thought and logic. So, often times there are many many regrettable decisions and actions. 🤷‍♀️

Yes please to the 2nd video!! You're doing a great job at KZbin honestly. I love your relaxed videos. I know it's hard, but don't try too hard to figure out interesting things to film. Just do day in the life and bake a cake or smth. I would love to see more recipes from you. Just live and share a glimpse with us and all will be great!

I relate with you so much! I literally laughed out loud when you said you’d rather stay home than go get coffee with anyone living or dead because that is exactly how I felt!

Hi:) I have a question. Do you think it's okay to read the bible when you aren't religious? I am not really religious but I think the stories are so inspiring and interesting! Love you and your family a lot!❤

It‘s not just okay, it‘s the best you can do! The bible is the living word. It has such a power and it‘s not at all about being religious. Try to think about it as a personal relationship with the Lord of the lords and the creator of the universe - how amazing is that! May the Lord bless you and speak to you through his word ❤️
