It is probably the most beautiful place I have seen for a long time, and that lake beats everything. First in the sauna, and then you jump into the lake, think it's Finnish tradition, at least in Finnish movies. The grill pavilion is just super convenient and plenty of good food came out of it. I have to say that it was an absolutely unique trip. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.

Great video of your cabin life experience. So much to do and so little time to do it. Your hat was great and looked so warm. Reminded me of something Santa's daughter or a young misses Claus would wear. Probably to cold for the fish to bite but getting out on the water is always worth it. Hmm, pike should be possible, I live in Northern Sweden, And we have similar fishing. pike is usually best just before lakes get iced over and Late winter when snow/ice start to melt, just up to 4-5 weeks before spawning)

Hi Becky- we think we found a pretty good place- we usually go on a fishing trip to Canada once a year were we are flown in,but after seeing your vid I decided to try something different-so here is the place we are looking at Hundimaja is set on the shore of the Gulf of Riga, far away from towns. (closest town is Pärnu 65km). the prices are very reasonable-airfare will be the biggest cost of course-however we are considering the same area were you and family were at I loved it!. I have a friend that I went to university with that lives in Norway, so we may get him to meetup with us

We got so much lakes in Finland that those cabins can be quite cheap to buy. Something to consider.

I love the looks of that place and could relax there comfortably and being alone except for the animals which come down to eat and drink water. You all must have loved your time there and enjoying being in nature. I was wondering if you all caught any fish to eat and how many? Your dad must have enjoyed being in nature and away from the stress of his job.

Yes totally agree, it was a lovely stay. Wish we could of been there longer, was very hard coming back home from such a nice setting. Yes my dad caught a pike and cooked it which was a a cool experience :) Yeah definitly!
