This charming rancher log home is nestled in the woods on a lake in North Dakota’s Turtle Mountains.
The home has just been enclosed and dried in by a professional Meadowlark crew, but is yet unfinished. Enjoy the tour as Elvie walks you through the inside and the exterior. It is enlarged from the floor plan on the website with an added mud room.

Years ago there was a tv show called Coach with Craig T. Nelson. Towards the last season he bought a log cabin out in the woods that was gorgeous. It had a circular stair case up to the second floor. What was cool about it was by the front entryway and it was inside a glass block tower. Wish I could get one like that.

Yep would be nice to see this home with its kitchen and bathroom(s) and final grade with improved views if this were mine I'd have that covered porch extended to cover entire porch so rain and snow stay off it as much as possible and drain into yard.

I’ve always wondered the reason why porch/front door entrance lights are almost always put on the exterior closest to the side of the door that opens? As opposed to the other side of the door. Only because bugs/moths flutter around the light at night wouldn’t it keep more bugs away from the open door if porch/entrance lights were reversed from the door opening? All my respect to this channel, company, family, tradesman and their beautiful product.
