Deep in the mountains of Switzerland, we met the Valais Blacknose Sheep during a hike !

@@angusmcgowan5985 From Valais Blacknose? Maybe outside Switzerland where they are not 100% purebred, or ones that were not properly looked after? A Valais is the tamest sheep that exists and can often be seen following a shepherd into a tavern and sitting calmly in the corner. How the world differs.

the valaise blacknose is the friendliest, sweetest sheep you will ever find. I have heard them described as like a pet dog. Very non-aggressive and...they just like people !

Michael Goldberg Apparently - Switzerland and they are rare. Have no idea about the quality of the chops but I have learned that the wool is very coarse - suitable for carpets etc.

they are used to being shepherded. so when people are around it is equal to green pastures. but then again, they are equally dangerous because they can ram you with their horns for defense and kick you with their sharp hooves. just be mindful. but i like the video! thank you for sharing!

they would have to ram sideways to hurt you, I haven't seen them do it, would be curious to know more. I don't think female sheep are very aggressive, if they followed me I would assume they are just following because they are sheep and it's their nature, or they want water.

Sheep are only really aggressive if you threaten them or their lams though

Personally, I could never eat one of these incredibly adorable, little lambs unless I was starving to death; because they're just too damned cute.
