Dead pool movies have never been good imo. There's too much extreme on both ends that you don't know where you are meaning its super violent but also try hard comedic. Whereas with Logan its a straight up horror marvel movie.

I have a love/hate relationship with this movie. On the one hand it’s the most mature, best written movie for Logan ever, on the other hand it’s just so incredibly sad and so heartbreaking to see how the x-men movie characters come to an end. It’s nihilistic and beautifully dark but I can’t watch it anymore. BUT! It’s a fantastic movie, it’s just the feels I have while watching it, which makes it not my favourite…

Despite the intro kinda disrespecting logan I'm glad they didn't bring this version of the character back. Because it would have felt less impactful.People are gonna complain about that deadpool 3 but i feel love for this movoe and deadpool three for giving hugh a chance to show how deep wolverine can go both seriously with logam and more comedic with deadpool 3

After watching Deadpool 3, I'm shocked at how brilliant Logan was. Like It doesn't have cameos, flashy clothes, heavy CGI sequences, or nearly as much fan service as Deadpool 3, dumb jokes, or much of a comic book adaptation, but they managed to create a great ass comic book film without relying on any of those elements. This is not just a good comic film, but a good film overall. People were on drugs thinking Deadpool 3 has the best Wolverine fightscenes when this movie exists, like you would rather eat that CGI mess of fightscenes than this masterpiece fight sequences?; you can feel the actual claws striking through people, through every organs; it has weight and impact; in Deadpool 3 it has none of that at all; it feels so weightless and empty; and the audacity to say Mangold didn't succeed in delivering the best Wolverine fightscenes, fuken frustate me

I prefer Logan as well. But I dont think its a fair comparision since DP 3 is a pure comedy.

The best thing about Logan for me is that it gives you a chance to think about "what if" in this way of story telling. What if a powerful character like Magneto was alive or what if Cyclops was alive etc etc. Because the movie is so violent and dark, it gives the mutants a different look. Like, if you think Wolverine was this strong and damaging, just imagine what another mutant could do. Marvel movies to me have always been too PG 13 and I always hated that because extreme violence and gore is a part of fighting between villians and heroes and that gives it a much more realistic and grounded feel.
