Btw, here are some snippets from my conversations with a chatGPT like program: "In real-life biology, every time a cell divides, there is a risk of small copying errors or mutations. Over time, these errors can accumulate, potentially leading to various age-related diseases and a decline in the body's ability to repair itself. In Logan's case, the idea of cellular errors can be seen as a parallel to his declining healing factor. As his regenerative powers weaken with age, the “copying errors” (or in his case, the inability to perfectly heal and regenerate) could become more pronounced. This would mean that his cells are not regenerating as perfectly or as efficiently as they did when he was younger, leading to a buildup of damage and, consequently, an inability to counteract the toxic effects of the Adamantium. So, while the specifics of Wolverine's healing factor are rooted in comic book science, the underlying concept does mirror real biological principles of aging and cellular regeneration." [...] "Wolverine's extensive history of injuries and constant healing would indeed mean his cells were "copying" or regenerating at an exceptionally high rate. While his healing factor was incredibly powerful, it's conceivable that the sheer volume of regenerations could lead to cumulative wear and tear over time. This could imply that the more frequently his cells were forced to regenerate, the more opportunities there were for minor errors to creep in. Even with a highly efficient healing factor, the relentless pace of his injuries and subsequent healing would take a toll. It's a fascinating idea that aligns well with the concept of biological aging and cellular wear and tear. Wolverine's story, with its unique blend of science fiction and superhero mythos, really makes us ponder the interplay between biology and superhuman abilities." [...] "The field of psycho-neuroimmunology explores the intricate connections between the mind, nervous system, and immune responses. It’s fascinating to think about how Logan's intense traumas and constant psychological stress could have a compounding effect on his physical health. Chronic stress and trauma can indeed weaken the immune system, increase inflammation, and exacerbate physical ailments. For Logan, his numerous traumatic experiences-coupled with the constant battle scars and the burden of outliving many loved ones-would create a cocktail of "toxic stress." This stress, in turn, could further degrade his healing abilities over time, making it harder for his body to cope with the Adamantium poisoning. So, while Logan had the advantage of a mutant healing factor, the psychological and emotional toll he endured could have significantly undermined those advantages, contributing to his overall decline. This adds another layer of depth to his character and story, showcasing how interconnected and vulnerable even the most powerful beings can be." I thought, since the AI was going to forget our conversation, maybe I could give it a longer "life" by copying it here.

Leo: "Bruh, you have adamantium in your body. What are you limping for!?" Me: "Because he's got Adamantium in his body... " 😆 The Adamantium is and has been poisoning his body since he got it... it's graphted to his bones and has been poisoning his body and bones... his healing factor is why he hasn't shown much aging.. and why the poisoning hasn't shown so much... his body is constantly healing... Which is also why he drinks so much.. he can't even get drunk much because hes always healing... which is why he drinks... he's in constant pain and healing... mentally and physically speaking... but over time... it shows.... This movie is based on the Old Man Logan Comics... Where Logan is Older and getting weaker... He's vulnerable.... 👍🏽 Oh and also the Western Movie is called SHANE... It's a classic western... You'd really like it...

I LOVED the first 2 Deadpools, but the cameos didn't save the questionable CGI, the overused slow motion, the miss times songs, and the spotty acting. The plot was meandering too at times. I'm a comic book fan, so I love most comic book movies, Marvel and DC, but it just didn't feel right this time around, forced. To the ravenous fans, your opinions will never sway mine. It's like No Way Home which I did like at first. Then I started realizing that there's no way they could have cured every one of them, that Electro would have never have been there, and that cameos don't negate the fact that Dr. Strange would never cast such a world altering spell with his wisdom.

@julesb1970
@julesb1970 Ай бұрын
@naiderl No, not from what I've read. What Transient put in the food and water source was the "cure" which is a gene therapy, so it stopped the X Gene in pregnancy and for existing mutants it slowly suppressed their mutant gene in turn their abilities. Which for Logan one of his abilities was healing, with that slowly going away the toxic poison from the adamantium could take hold and he was slowly dying. In the movie Logan, there's an expository scene wherein Dr. Zander Rice reveals how Transigen, based on his work, distributed gene therapy through food products to suppress the X-gene in mutants.

Back in 2016. Before the release of X-Men:Apocalypse and following the success of Deadpool. Hugh Jackman tweeted with a pic of himself as the character showing the one admantium claw with the words "One Last Time". James Mangold, director of the previous Wolverine installment and 3rd film with Jackman was appointed to round out the trilogy. Using elements of the Old Man Logan comic storyline published prior to the first Wolverine solo film. In Days of Futurepast, history was altered for the most part of being a better world. But nothing could stop the unimaginable future that we see. Jackman as Logan in this film with what he faces is an inspiring performance and his best portrayal of the character. Caring for Xavier after an unforseen event, trying to be close with young Laura aka X-23 and battling these newer kinds of foes pushes the levels of what we've already known of this universe, that anything can happen, ready or not. The songs of Johnny Cash, influences of many 'Man/Child' coming of age stories, remarkable suspense/action and some of the most emotional moments ever seen in this genre. Making this Rated-R and a Hard R at that, was the best choice ever made to show this character in his element. This is one of the best film adaptations of an comic ever. Nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay (Academy Award, Writers Guild, etc) and winner of 9 consecutive awards. Ever after the Wolverine trilogy at this point. The X-Men film series was slowly, but surely coming to a close as well.

The tracker, Calaban, was also in X-Men Apocalypse, he was the with the gun that got turned into dust by Apocalypse. The Adamantium was killing him, I think, it was after The Wolverine and how they were trying to remove it from him, the Adamantium was never in his bloodstream, it was injected directly into his bones. The tragic event with Professor X, was basically caused by a seizure which killed several other mutants and several of the X-Men. Laura is X-23, and X-24 well as you can see is unhinged, but he is also a clone of Logan with the same abilities. Yukio mentioned dying with his heart in his hand, it was in reference to Laura (X-23) You are in for a hell of a ride with Deadpool and Wolverine. The old western is Shane. A classic. U should react to it. A couple other old westerns would be John Wayne in Hondo & The Searchers (many consider the greatest western of all time). Big Country is another great old western full of old movie stars

if any movie has the right for crying...its this one... you sir have robbed yourself of experiencing and embracing one of the most heart wrenching deaths in cinema.. my condolences.

Yeah. It's the adamantium that's killing him though. That's why they DIDN'T give it to Sabertooth. Because HE doesn't heal as fast, or as completely, as Logan. Although Logan can't regrow or reattach limbs like Deadpool can.

The movie Logan was more of a situation that he was retiring from being the Wolverine. The movie was perfect when it came out.

typing this before he probably says it, but the stuff they put in the cane syrup is weakening his healing. normally his healing keeps the adamantium poisoning in check.

The adamantium is a poison that is slowly defeating his healing factor and killing him. Magneto removed it in the comics to keep him alive. One version of Wolverine anyway 😂😂

It was moreso the food that they were eating was suppressing mutant powers, so his healing ability which would normally stop the poisoning from the adamantium could now actually start to poison him.

@@julesb1970- No it wasn’t. The food only prevented new mutants from being born.

They can't make up their mind on Wolverine's powers lol. He's died around 15 times in the comics (They take place in different universes they're not exactly cannon to the main story) Deadpool killed him by permanently cutting his head off, The Punisher electrocuted him to death, The Hulk beat him to death, etc but then other times he's able to regenerate from being turned into a skeleton or coming back from a single drop of blood lol.
