I get what your comment is supposed to mean, but when sh*t actually hits the fan for some people, and this is the main source of entertainment or is an online community for them, it's normal to want to ask for support during a hard time especially if they don't have anyone else right now. Some of them just simply express that the pod is genuinely helping them during a rough time. I wouldn't call it attention seeking necessarily. I think we can be a little more sympathetic...
