I have seen a reupload of his controversial suicide forest video cuz a friend wanted me to see it and see how I felt about it, and Logan did want to do a fun vlog and camp while making a entertaining piece of content in the forest like he said in this interview. Him and his friends knew about the Aokigahara Forest and how it’s also known as the Suicide Forest. But the thing is many KZbinrs before them have visited Aokighara before and have done overbite stays in that exact forest that Logan and his friends intended to stay overnight in. The thing is those other KZbinrs didn’t actual find any dead bodies, if they did they didn’t film it, and if by some mistake they did film the body they edited so that people on KZbin and the internet don’t see what they saw. So people have done that kind of thing before where they’ve made videos in the Suicide Forest mostly because it’s a well known Japanese historically landmark despite the dark history behind it. Logan and his friends just wanted to do the same thing while they were visiting Japan and make a video in the forest like the other KZbinrs before them that have done it and make there own vid. They obviously weren’t expecting to see a dead body when they wandered off the trail to find a spot to set up camp. Their reactions were real and they were shocked at what they saw. In their shocked states they started to make a handful of mistakes that they shouldn’t have done. Logan’s friend Brendan North who was also his camera man at the time said to bring the camera over there, keep in mind that they hadn’t filmed the body before that point. So against their better judgement they did film the body when they absolutely shouldn’t have. Also keep in mind that being in a shocked state like that can impair a person’s better judgement. Logan and one or two of his friends make bad jokes and laugh at the situation because he said that people react to trauma different but still it was very inappropriate to laugh in that particular instance. They then go back where the parking lot of the forest park was and contacted the local authorities about the body so that they could handle it accordingly. All around the parking lot you can clearly see local Japanese tourists visiting the forest with their families and little kids so the forest is clearly not forbidden unlike what you said ICYCYLESTCK because if it was a forbidden area the locals being the respectful people that they are would have steered clear and would have been far away from the forest but it wasn’t forbidden and so they didn’t. Logan even said at that point that there were families with kids walking around that area so there would have been a very high chance that literally anyone could have seen what him and his friends saw. Logan and his friends also weren’t aware that they weren’t supposed to wander off the forest path and weren’t told about it until after they had already done that. Logan tried to turn the negative situation into a positive by attempting to talk about suicide prevention and his heart was kinda in the right place with that part but with him and his friends actually filming the victim the way they did it just didn’t end up being taken seriously by the public. Now here’s the thing Logan obviously has gotten a lot of hate and a lot of harsh criticism from a ton of people all over for what happened as he said in this interview. He’s also been punished by KZbin and has had a good amount of his partnerships terminated, and has had some of his projects he was in put on hold because of the controversy. But his original Suicide Forest video was never taken down by KZbin. Logan removed the video himself after receiving a lot of hate for what he did within that amount of time. Don’t get me wrong Logan does deserve to be criticized for that video but what everyone doesn’t understand, what all of the people who are criticizing and hating on Logan is that all of the blame isn’t solely on him. How Logan reacted in the video was really bad but his friend Brendan was the one who said that they should get the camera and see the body. He’s the one who suggested filming the body not Logan. I believe that if Brendan hadn’t suggested doing that then it would have been very likely that they wouldn’t have actually filmed the body and it wouldn’t have been in the video. Also Logan Paul doesn’t really edit his videos what a lot of big KZbinrs do like Pewdiepie for example is that they have editors to edit and fix all of their videos before it gets put on the internet. Brendan was his editor for this but he chose not to edit the body out of the video for some reason. The thing is if that one part where they showed the body in the video was edited out completely so that no one would’ve see the body in the video I guarantee you that nobody would’ve had a problem with the video and Logan wouldn’t have received so much hate over the video. Another thing is that with KZbin they have a system on the platform where when a video is created and posted on KZbin the video has to be seen, be approved or not with following KZbins guidelines and then it gets put onto KZbin to be seen by the public if it’s approved. If it’s not approved then the video then gets taken down and not made public on KZbin. The KZbin staff who should’ve reviewed Logan’s video approved of it and didn’t see anything wrong with the video and let it be made public. KZbin, if the staff had done their jobs right, could have and should have disapproved of the video when it was being reviewed. If they had disapproved or the video then it wouldn’t have been made public and absolutely no one would have seen it and there would’ve been no controversy. But for some stupid reason the staff chose not to do their jobs properly only to throw Logan under the bus later by saying basically that it was all his fault not there’s. Now I’m not saying that Logan is blameless and that he doesn’t deserve to be heavily criticized for what he did because he isn’t blameless and he does deserve to be criticized and even he admits that he does deserve to be criticized for what he did. But he doesn’t deserve to have all of the blame on him and get hated on by so many people when it wasn’t all his fault. It was also Brendan and KZbin’s fault like I explained earlier. They all had parts to play in all of this, but Logan is the one who is getting hated on and he’s the one who’s getting punished and he’s the one everyone is blaming this whole controversy on when in reality it’s not all his fault. His friend Brendan hasn’t gotten a lot of criticism for what happened and if he did it would’ve been very minor and would’ve been less hateful than all of what Logan has been receiving. KZbin did absolutely could have 100% prevented the video from going public but didn’t and then they threw Logan under the bus and punished him for it like a bunch of assholes. Don’t get me wrong Logan wasn’t in the right with what he did, but what ticks me off is that there’s other people who are to blame for what happened but they aren’t getting any hate for what happened only Logan is. Now like I said Logan at least realized that he had made a giant mistake with that video and took it down himself when he had started to receive a lot of hate and criticism for what happened. He took a lot of time off of KZbin to reflect on his poor decisions. He then apologized for what he did in one of his videos which was a good first step for him to take. He then made the Suicide Be Here Tomorrow vid which was actually a really touching video that shows how he learned to be aware of just how badsuicide is and learned about suicide prevention. He also donated a couple of million dollars of his money to various suicide prevention charities as a way to atone for what he did. He also learned to be a little bit more sensitive and learn from his mistake with this and vowed to make sure that something like that won’t happen again. If you’ve seen how Logan Paul is in his vlogs and with his other things you’d know that he’s not a cruel heartless person you’d know that he’s truly a nice person with a good heart and a great personality. He just did this one really bad thing this one time. Dr. Phil has said that with Logan he’s a young man who did one really bad thing but we shouldn’t ignore all the good he has done and all the good that he will do and judge him his whole entire life in the past, present and future negatively over this one really bad thing.

NyopNyopTheDog lots of KZbinrs even before Logan Paul and this whole entire controversy go into Aokigahara aka the Suicide Forest in Japan regardless if they know about its status as a suicide site or not because despite its history and current status it’s still open to the public as a tourist attraction where pretty much anyone can enter the forest. It ain’t forbidden it’s open to the public despite it being where a lot of Japanese locals commit suicide. Logan Paul and his friends weren’t the first ones to visit Aokigahara to do a 24 hour overnight challenge in the forest there, as they had intended to do, and I know for a fact that they won’t be the last. I mean look up videos of other KZbinrs staying overnight in Aokigahara and you’ll see a lot of videos of people doing that. Logan Paul and his friends were just the first ones to actually show a real suicide victim which didn’t have the effect on the public as they had intended and because of that Logan has gotten a ton of hate and criticism because of the controversy.
