I find Logan's entire framing of this dishonest. No where did Coffee say he reached out to Logan, he always said something to the effect of "Logan and his manager". Even if Coffee did just reach out to just his manager, I see that as adequate, you know since it is the managers job to keep their client informed of these things. If Logan has an issue of Coffee reaching out to him personally at such a late date when Coffee had already contact his manager twice before the story ran, that is more an issue between Logan and his manager. If I recall correctly Logan had blocked Coffee on twitter after his initial DM so in my eyes that shows that Logan did not want Coffee to contact him directly, and doing so could be considered harassment. Factoring this in to me it feels like Logan is saying "I gave you strong indications I did not want you to contact me personally, however, when you went through the official means to do so (my manager) and was not able to I am going to find fault for it".

I think this story broke at a critical time and that Coffee is going to be a kind of internet folk hero for standing up for people that feel cheated and chewed up by all these scammers and con-men. the best part, NFTs dont actually contain the pictures (in 99.99% of cases)! they just contain hyperlinks (typically ipfs) that dont technically have to only contain pictures. even more fun fact, people could technically create an NFT that contains your personal information and then send it to a wallet you own and permanently have the data linked to you for everyone to see! A bit of a sad truth when people have "redemption arcs" in meme terms, is that it depends on the person's own interpretation of what that redemption means. For some, it means they have a chance to improve and overall grow as people. For others, it tends to mean that they found a way to get away with shit. Like, when you "forgive" someone, they either learn and become people both you and themselves can be proud of, or they try to push the boundaries further to see what they can get away with. In both cases the person learns a lesson, but not necessarily THE lesson. Logan Paul went from embarrasing and offensive content...to scamming people, and on both ocassions, he now thinks that he can just say "i'm sorry, i'll do better". Which by that point no, he can't We can believe he's trying, but it becomes a psychological problem in which a person gets so fucked up in the head, to the point where even if we can prove they truly mean it when saying they want to be better, they just can't. I HOPE to be proven wrong, because he clearly still has an audience so i don't want THEM to be scammed and abused by someone who cannot improve no matter how hard he tries or claims to be trying.

The funniest thing about LOG'S 'response' was how to tried to paint an image that Coffee is like some sort of failed cop and/or journalist and the way he was throwing around the words made me ponder. It felt like he was only saying those as an emotional grab towards the audience, knowing that a lot of his viewers (as well as Coffee's) are people who aren't really into mainstream journalism and journalist and authority (cops) so he though PAINTING Coffee as such would gain the advantage. "Naw, guys! I'M the victim here! I'm just the poor, underdog trying to make a living and COFFEE, who is a failed cop BTW, is just tryin' to take me down for the man! You wouldn't want that, would you? That's why he's trying to slander me! He's like all those reporters you hate on TV that your parents watch! Right! ACAB, right haha? Journalist suck, amirite?
