It would only make sense if most pf the medium was directed towards the most ranged demographic, but it doesn't mean other voices are not welcome in the industry in 2023. The healthy way to do representation is to open the doors to everyone so that anyone can come in and show their work The unhealthy way is to force companies to make "diverse casting", promoting tokenism and creating hatred upon representation as a whole Supergirl, Lucifer, Teen Titans from early 2000 and even Avengers understood it well.

I’m a Hispanic dude and I think there was maybe a single person of color in that entire game… but who cares??? The gameplay was so kickass that I barely even noticed, and it’s in my top 5 games of all time. Of course I always appreciate seeing people of the same background as me in media, but games like Doom don’t focus on much else besides the intense gameplay. Aloy isn't bad, she's got a bit more round face that Zero Dawn but that's not as bad as they made it sound. I love some of the new armors too. I think you can criticize the the NPCs more. I like the Tenakth but thers a lot of copy and paste designs, though it does make sense they're like military uniforms, being inspired by former special forces. (at least, that's what I understand 'the ten' to be.

I just think that the whole mood of Replicant is far more serious and I also like the mechanics a little more, with the parrying and all. I also think the soundtrack is better, because it’s sadder and more somber. I also think the story is a little better. If you delve into the lore a little on replicant you’ll see why. Also, to fully understand the series you need to read up on Drakengard 1.

After the events of Halo Infinite, Chief goes looking for one of the last usable Halo Ring, which guides his search to a space station where many information logs are keptthat could tell him where to start his search. Doom Slayer is in his own Space Station when he hears that a ship with neither earth nor Demon classifications has pinged on his radar. He follows it carefully and makes sure not to lose it enroute to its destination. Chief, unaware that he's being followed, makes it to said station with the document logs he's looking for. Upon arrival, he notices that there is very little life there. He continues onto one of the main facilities on the station. Just as he's nearing the entrance he's blocked by a few covenant who of course think they have the drop on him. He quickly dispatches them with ease and caution, unintentionally making the Slayer privy to his skills as well. The Slayer sees this as a great opportunity and decides to make himself known to him. Just before Chief goes inside he sees a very large figure and immediately decides not to get involved. He very quickly runs inside and locks the door. He then hears a very loud sound, as though a very large piece of metal is being broken and bent horribly out of shape. He rounds the next corner, not sure what to expect. He sees the exact same figure standing just down the hall. Realizing that the usual tactics aren't going to fly here, he chooses to wait. The person steps into the light, revealing himself to the soldier. Chief asks who he is. "You first.", says the Slayer of demons. *Chief:* "I am Master Chief petty officer, Sierra 117 of the U.N.S.C. I've been led here looking for information which I believe will help me in preventing a tyrannical force from destroying the universe." *Slayer:* "...Well, that'a good enough for me. I'm the Slayer." *Chief:* "...And that big hole in the wall? I remember seeing an interview of Phil LaMarr (Green Lantern, Samurai Jack, Hermes from Futurama) and he talked about diversity in VO and stated his distaste for being kind of type-cast to play mostly black characters. I can’t help but think of what he said when I read stuff that wants each race to play their own skin color. Just seems counterproductive for VO work where the person is not physically involved in the role.

Thats what i was kinda bummed about the accents of the locals/villagers in RE8. RE4 villagers spoke Spanish and it felt authetic to the obscure Spanish village setting that RE4 had. It added a bit of personality to RE4. RE8 villagers straight up speak in American English lol, and its jarring.

But none the less I love the phrases and they're quite a meme in the Spanish talking community, since they are really corny and cheese.
