You’re probably wondering, how did you get this fully produced so fast? WELL YOU SEE, I actually started production on this in early April and reached out to Miz’ki for the art around then too!! I am obsessed with EPIC so I had already seen several parts of Monster floating around so I put it together to learn and record ahead of time!
The only thing I had to record yesterday was the intro and ending! This was sooo much fun to work on and I’m a sucker for emotional covers with a chorus ahhh.
AND LOOK AT THE ART!! I want to once again give a massive thank you to Miz’ki for working with me to make this cover come to life visually!! They are so much fun to work with and are SO talented. Please go show them lots of love!! MWAH.

THAT WAS FAST!!! Were you at the watch party? Ok, starting with the highly melodic register at first, getting rugged and dipping in certain words as it goes, love it. The energy progressively getting higher and angrier in the bridge!! We've dropped now, the anger in "monster", the combination of anger of fear that follows, the rage in the progression, and the final chorus basically punching you in the face!! The quiet determination in the last line!!! I knew this was gonna be good, but WOW. Especially with how soon you put this out!! Brava

The background voices here are amazing, in a way that stands oit from the original to really make the word "monster" pop. Its different, in a good way, and easily my favorite part of this cover. That being said though, several artistic choices by the lead vocalist strike me as interesting and unique stylistic changes. Nothing major of course this is definitely the same song but this has some extra spice I really like. Well done.

how u started off in the beginning is so soothing to the ears Loganne- I may have never heard this song but you made me intrigued to hear the full thing now. The emotions are true in this!! The beat change also took me offguard at 1:09 but the relaxing feel still sticks, which is amazing !! The snare as well. Overall the vocals are really relaxing and emotional, you did really well with this cover !! :))

Dang, I am just so obsessed with the octave up for the last chorus. I love the original, but just like "Just a Man" I feel like it's missing something, and the octave up just filled in exactly what it needed. The push at the end to show the emotional build up. There's a reason most powerballads in musical theater end with a key change, and you were able to create the same effect via the octave change. I loved it so much.
