My dad got new work boots every year and when I was 12 my feet were the same size as his and I got his old work boots. The first thing he showed me was how to take care of the leather. I was so proud to wear his boots! This was another awesome video that took me down memory lane. Thank you so much Buckin' for this channel! P.S. Always hated working off a ladder running a saw. Was always told ladders and tree work don't mix by my first boss/teacher, next company used them everyday for cutting it seemed. Jeez those Diadoras are limby! Kinda like the Siberian Larch trees we got here…the trunks are solid as a rock, but the limbs seem to be made of Papier-mache..brittle as crackers, and a lot of them. I don't like to work in ladders, not in any way. But of course, if that is what one got, they can be a good thing. Stay safe and be kind peeps, have a great week :)

Thank you for always being positive Buckin! You are often a light in the darkness for me. I really want to get back into tree work but I've kind of beat my body up already. I need to find a good doctor to help me get fit again so I can do what I love. I'm not happy in my current career and all I can think is I know I'm happy when I'm running a saw. And I hear you say that alot. So one of these days one of your videos is going to be the final push to motivate me to just go for it. I miss the trees man. It's my happy place. A lot the real fun (technical stuff )is fast forwarded I love the sound of these machines being worked . Please buckin show us the stuff you think is boring and know that we learn from you and as I have the chance to cut. The old pro 850 from my dad Is the best saw I have used in my life I am an 80 kg little Aussie loving these old girls. I have also aquired a pair of amazi g old pro mac 10-10 beasts. One is like new. The other had a tag saying SCRAP. The scrap saw runs and has enough compression to hold up saw and bar.

I have a question for you buckin. Oddman outdoors has a channel here on youtube. His video was discussing the differences between full skip, semi skip, and full comp. Which do you prefer? I prefer the full comp chains with 8 pin sprockets on a 36 inch bar on my 661 and 880. I run the same set up with a 461 but stay with the 7 pin sprocket. The 461 just gets pulled down too low, especially in sappy pine and dough fir. I tend to run skip chains on saws smaller than a 362. What are your thoughts?

JOE CAPOZZIELLO Just little advice. Put time limit. Be consistent. It will hurt for a little while. Incentivise him to find other safe INTEREST. Be creative trust what works. Be kind, firm, HE will love you for it. They've done studies following people who are unhappy later in life and the number one thing that they found was from these people is that they wished that their parents would have discipline them and said no.. that's a fact.
