I love Cat motors. I used to help my father move heavy equipment around locally at his job. His truck had a 3406E with straight pipes....This right here is the reason I spent 23 years of my life driving a truck. That bark when you use the jake brake and fully loaded going down a long hill. My 1 year of Heavy equipment operations went well for college. I'm going into my second year this early fall. I am still loving it. However I'm not sure my plans exactly for getting a job after my second year over the summer before I go for my bachelor's in construction management. I've been pondering on the idea of a logging company because I'd rather be operating equipment in the woods then on a construction site. The only downside is I can't get my CDL, but I do have my normal drivers licence. You think it would be smart to look into a logging job over the summer after my second year?

ever watch the TV show DIESEL BROTHERS. when you first started the truck up, and had black smoke, well they take the CAT CONVERTER out of trucks to get black smoke. someone was complaining to the state, and after a long battle in court, they were fined $850,000.00 ( eight hundred fifty thousand ) for doing that. i read about it last week, and if i am wrong, someone please correct me
