I really appreciate that you got the pattern piece on one sheet of paper. Thank you.

just recovering from surgery so my mind must not be engaged as normal, the bag looks a little tuff to me, although I am a bag maker, but I enjoy your teaching methods when my elevator goes all the way to the top. thank you

Wishing you a speedy recovery! When you are back at it I hope you’ll feel game to try, the more recent quilted Logi variation has instruction that is a bit clearer than these earlier videos and may help with any tricky parts. And of course I’m happy to help any way I can. Feel better!

I'm working on skill building. Binding is not easy for me, but I do love this little pouch so I will make a bunch and practice.
@OKSew4744 ай бұрын
Short, straight areas of binding are a great way to practice. To be honest binding is not my strongest skill, I’m going to have a skill builder on binding in the future so we can all get better together!

Can't wait til you do the small keychain version. Can use that for lots of things.
@@OKSew474 Cool. I didn't see it. I just found your channel recently. I will take a look around. Thank you for the pattern and tutorial. The Logi bag looks like the perfect size and the Baby Logi will be great for earbuds and blistex. lol Thanks again.

Thanks for the pattern, where do you purchase the foam lining, or what type of foam is it? Many thanks!
@OKSew4743 ай бұрын
This is the one I use, I buy it at Joann when it is on sale: www.joann.com/pellon-ff78f1-flex-foam-1-sided-fusible-interfacing-20in-x-10-yard-board/14815062.html

I'm really enjoying this pattern. If you don't mind sharing where do you purchase your vinyl, please.

I replied on your other comment but if there is a particular type you’ve seen me use just let me know which one and I can let you know the specific source. :)

Mentioning seam allowances would be nice.
@OKSew4742 ай бұрын
My apologies, this video was intended as an accompaniment to the first Logi tutorial which has seam allowances, I did not realise I don’t cover it in this version. For the zipper I use 5/16” but that can vary based on zipper tape width so you can use anything from 1/4-3/8” depending on your preference. For the bottom seam and boxed corners I use 3/8.

Question about joining the two pattern pieces to make one pattern. Do all of your variety of bag styles use the two dotted lines joined on top of each other as one, except for the directional print? My overthinking things is rearing it’s ugly head and I’m making myself crazy over where to join my pattern.
@OKSew4743 ай бұрын
Hi Julia! Yes in each of the videos except for the directional print I have used a single pattern piece for the exterior, with two copies joined at the dotted line.

When snipping into your zipper tape do you worry about it shredding, or is the fray-check enough for the zipper tape as well ?
@OKSew4746 ай бұрын
I make sure the fray check goes into the snips in the zipper tape, that is the layer most prone to fraying. I get a drop right at the very point and it soaks out from there along the cut edges.

I am struggling to figure out your accent! Sounds like Great Britain moved to Minnesota.
@carwai5 ай бұрын
Via New Jersey.
@OKSew4745 ай бұрын
I can see how you would guess that! It’s Australian moved to all over the US, my husband was Air Force but he is from northern NY state so I think there is some influence from him in my accent!
