thank you very much. I got into this relatively volume and couldn’t wrap my head around how to turn it off!

That's really nice!

Is there any way to write volume automation and then use the fader as a relative fader? Would be very handy when doing final mixes.

Nice and quick. Hardly interrupted this mix I'm doing. Cool

okay word thank you for making this i think this answers my question. so relative is just the overall volume and absolute is the first layer ? so it's basically just two different layers of automation.

So you have to have a first layer to use relative automation? For example, during a final mix you might want to automate the relative position of the fader while still being able to move the fader up and down. In my projects this seems to work, but only 80% of the time. Randomly, about 20% of tracks snap to -6.0dB if you have some relative automation but no absolute automation.

So would I be correct in saying that you choose relative automation after you've changed your mind about where you originally wanted the absolute automation?

this is a cool video damn

Is it possible to book you out to be the last person to talk to me when I’m on my death bed. Your voice is like a hug from Mr Rogers.

Hey I upgraded to 10.1 and can no longer see my automation nodes and lines over the audio file how do I turn that back on? Thanks brother! :)

So there's really no reason to use trim? The only thing it does is prevent you from changing the volume later?

I'm trying to find how to put my automation points closer than Logic Pro has constrained them... but this is cool./

THe functionality of logics automation is the dumbest thing I have ever experienced. And I have been using it a long time.
@TheMiwaro7 жыл бұрын
madelefant05 I really like it so far. What don't you like about it?
@madelefant057 жыл бұрын
One thing is how wonky clicking on automation nodes is. In the tempo track (where you automate tempo) when you click to make a new node it jumps all over the place
@TheMiwaro7 жыл бұрын
Ive never had that problem. Have you tried changing from bar to beat or division etc.? Also, you can change your snap mode from absolute to relative.
