Splice rules but as someone with 1000's of sounds let me say Splice desktop app NEEDS to have a button to randomize your sample list since they're always ordered by recently added. so many sounds get buried as your list grows.they do have this feature on the website though, but if you cancel your account you lose access to the website's very useful sound browser. only reason i keep my account active is to have that feature.. i have over a thousand credits i dont use simply cause i have so many sounds that are burried and unheard that i discover on the website.

@@QuickmixProductions I think it's so you don't cancel your account. In the early days of the service you could cancel and still have the website's browser, which is what I'd do since I have enough drum sounds. That's no longer the case. My guess is they realized a lot of subscribers would cancel after building up a huge library. So now I just stay subscribed simply to get a randomized list of my many drum samples 🤦‍♂️ I have 1100 credits I don't even use since I already have plenty of sounds. Though this new sampler has me downloading loops to chop

@@vrivers_ you can't drag from website unfortunately, at least with my DAW Logic X. the splice app kinda sucks ass to be honest. i literally have to use website as a means to finding my sounds, then search for the sample in the app, then from there drag into DAW. you can filter the sounds by type and what not, but they will always be in order from most recently added. lots of youtubers get paid to promote splice, distrokid, etc. but they don't tell you these kinda things like how f'ing trash the app is lol

Love your video! The only feedback I have is to raise the volume of your mic? I can barely hear you and I have to turn up the speakers but then the music gets really loud. Its a constant turning up the volume and bringin it down.

I’m not sure why, but I attempted to do the same thing with splice and logic. I got a sample that I liked, dragged it into the logic DAW under the optimized sampler, selected the flex option, and I could not get it to line up with the tempo. I was at 85 and the sample was at 80, but the flex option didn’t do anything for me. I ended up slowing the project tempo down-which killed the vibe for me. I suppose some of those splice samples don’t include the meta data required for logic to alter the tempo, but I’m not sure. I did everything you’re doing here, to no avail. Nevertheless, great video bro.

Not sure if know this but when you drop a sample into quick sampler (optimize) it’s also analyzing and tuning the sample across the keyboard

Nothing.... I just gain staged it. Go to the end of video. And I have screen recording of beat and I switched to mixer to show that I don’t use anything but delay on my tag and limiter on master track
