I have seen in many youtube videos people used to change pitch of the loop through Transpose option in the region inspector . I changed pitch of the regions as they did and bounced the audio to check pitch of the loop . Not all the notes in the loop changed to correct pitch/scale .only few notes changed to correct notes. In this case they should have seen still some pitching issues Right ? . But why they dint face any issue when they drop the loop in the song after transposing ?

do they have copyrights? The loops

if you want to use the Apple Loops (they were downloaded with Logic's Sound Library, right?), MUST you have a Software Instrument track open to do so (and to drag the loops onto), or can you simply have an AUDIO track open - and just drag your (drum. bass, piano etc) loop there? So that you just work the project with audio loops and no instruments. Also, do you know how I "tell" Logic to look in my EXTERNAL hard disk to find all sounds and loops (since I moved everything out of my internal disk to save space)?

Thx your Video . One question. Apple loop ( Software Instrument Loop ) once drop to track, they will lose their effect ., eq... so on. Is it possible to keep that effect which the same like pre listening ?

Hey man, about audition in real time. In some arrangements the real time audition doesn't work. Is there a knob or setting to reset that or turn it on? Thanx!
@peterzee2 жыл бұрын
I would like to know that as well. I was working on a song and real time auditioning was working and then all of the sudden it stopped.

A slightly unrelated question if I may. What if I want to modify the first (the green coloured) loop by adding a note or two to it. Am aware that I can do it note by note using the mouse. But can I do it using a midi keyboard by loading up that software instrument on a separate track and then playing the extra new notes on that new track, and then fusing the two tracks. What would be the best way to do this. How do I keep the effects intact. This could also happen if I want to add, say, a cowbell to an existing drum loop. Any advice? Hope this is making sense :) Thanks.

You can write the note in. Control-click the Piano Roll Editor background, then choose Create Note from the shortcut menu. Select the Pencil tool, then click the start position for the note. Press and hold the Control and Shift keys as you click to add a note at the exact click position, regardless of the current Snap setting.

Dave Paul Thanks for the reply! If I am not mistaken you are talking about editing within the software. I want to do it by inputting the additional notes using a midi keyboard. Without losing whatever effects are already there on the loop. Is that doable.

Hello!! Is it legal to sell a song made with logic loops??
@MusicTechOfficial4 жыл бұрын
Yes, they are royalty free. In fact the drum loop from Rhianna's Umbrella is an Apple loop. "Vintage Funk Kit 03" - It's probably not included any more though...

@@MusicTechOfficial ok, thanks!!!

Yeah it is fine to use these Apple loops and have them in your track when you distribute it. You can’t sell just the loop on its own.

Why all tutorials about Logic on KZbin is examples with annoying electronic drum kits, it will be nice if you can demonstrate loops with acoustic guitars.....
