Logic's assessment of music in how he's learned not to jump the gun and call a project "mid" off the back is how I've learn to enjoy more music in the past years. There are projects from my favorite artists who took a chance on changing their style (including Logic) and I hated it originally, but then as time went on I learned to appreciate these different projects truly. It's always good to give music a 2nd and 3rd try and keep an open mind. It might not hit the first time, but eventually it can.

If you're a artist you gotta understand today's social media a lot of people just say things to get a lot of interaction or purposely overreact it is what it is you can't take it to heart.
@WhiteRose-ix9ww2 жыл бұрын
I get what you mean but it's actually the opposite. To be an Artist is to be sensitive and empathetic, bc those are the skills one needs to create not paint and bucket or mics and drums. So as the audience you should (well first leave the critique to the critics and just partake in the exploration of the piece)... nonetheless you should know its in our nature to take things to heart and it's a learned skill we don't naturally have thats why we can make the cool shit for you to marvel at. I feel like its a fair unwritten contract always broken by the audience... or "Nu critics" seeing as the audience is dead and there are only critics left.

Nnnaaahhh he's definitely made better music in his mixtape days, if you know, you know, (except Doctor Destruction but again that'd a mixtape, shit was dope and fire.) but I much prefer logic being happy, you definitely hear it in his music and I prefer that over logic forcing ish to make people happy.

Bob is right about those channels that “critique” music calling it mid or trash. That type of content is the cancer of the internet. You can’t judge art , something that is literally manifested from the void of space and then created into something people can enjoy
@kevin02era502 жыл бұрын
People have different opinions bro, even though we might not agree with them that’s their opinion
@LifestyleTradr2 жыл бұрын
@@kevin02era50 that’s true , I agree completely and also what I think is also just another opinion. The problem for me is that people sensationalize the negative, just like big media , and every other news tabloid looking for clicks and revenue. Some people act like there is no one on the other end, and will never talk to them like that to their face in real life. It really is a cancer to society. I’m a firm believer if you don’t have anything positive to say, then to keep it to yourself

My hero. A true inspiration. Loved that end talk! I want to thank you right back my man, been listening since school and now I’m 24, writing films, making them, doing what I love, for the love. The music has been a soundtrack to life, as you’ve said. It’s always there for me, I’m always rapping these lyrics in my own damn head. My family, my friends, they all know I fuck with Logic’s music so much to the point that I won’t shut up about it. Rattpack and PLP, man, its these that have been a true compass when shit gets hard. I’m working every day to create something that spreads an equally positive message with such an impact. Excited for this new era and its what us as a fanbase have always wanted for you, bro. We’re with you until the fucking wheels fall off! Peace from your boy Raphael, London town 💥❤️

1000% love Logic's conversation about music and how it's subjective. People really forget this these days. I didn't really like Kendrick's new album when I first listened. But guess what... I gave it 15 more chances, and I LOVE it now. Something that has deep thought put into it like most artists albums, that took time to create, deserve more than 1 brief listen. If you don't like it in general regardless, it's fine. BUT somebody will love it, and that's how music works.

I tell this to everyone I meet man. This is why I’m such a huge Logic fan. It’s past the music it’s the message. It’s the life lessons, it’s the morality you can take out from his lyrics and him as a person that we can all take example of and grow from. The book was a perfect example of that, and it’s amazing to see how happy he is. Success doesn’t equal happiness, attaining true happiness is what success is. And it’s amazing to have an example of someone who went through it. Always gonna love logic and always have, can’t wait to see him in august at the show. PLP y’all🔥 good interview pep talk

I hope you take a second to realize how great of a podcast this was. I'm not subscribing just because you had my favorite rapper of all time on, I'm subscribing because of how personable and empathetic you are. Something that separates this podcast from so many others was your willingness to listen. Though that might seem incredibly basic, many other podcasts lack that. This was a conversation, and it didn't seem like you were just taking a shortcut to promote your own brand. Hope this finds you well. You've earned a new fan
