I have Bose Companion 5 multimedia speaker system. It is compatible with Windows, but not Mac. If I connect this bluetooth adapter, will it be useful?

I have followed the instructions exactly and connected to my Logitech speakers but there is no sound. What am I doing wrong?

Check the Bluetooth connection on your cellphone, and make sure only one cellphone is connected at a time. Check there is a blue light on the bottom of the unit. Make sure you plug it into the subwoofer of the speakers. You could try to click forget the connection on cellphone, and then press the button on the adaptor and search again

I am able to connect to my phone just fine, but when I play music through the phone it does not come out through the speakers. But also no music comes out from the computer to the speakers at that time also. (The speakers are hooked up to my computer). @@Boopolo

Can it be connected to a Samsung TV? used on a genius 5.1 surround

Did you find there was any lag/latency on the video? I'm getting serious lag on mine but I've only tested it on a 2009 MacBook Pro (Bluetooth 2.1!) and 2020 iPad (Bluetooth 4.2). I'm upgrading to a machine with Bluetooth 5 soon, which I assume (hope) will fix the problem.

I doubt it, as it is just a line-level output signal. For headphones, you need an amplified line-level output signal. Thank you for watching

In all seriousness is this worth the 45 pound price tag as opposed to a different branded adapter at a tenner .

That sounds very expensive, Christine. I bought used for $20. I have also reviewed an Esinken one but I forgot to upload it to this channel. I have put it up now: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWGqY6CwZddgmM0 It has been working fine for 15 months connected to Alexa. In the UK you can buy it here amzn.to/3MCEFL7 It looks almost identical to the logitech

@Boopolo that's amazing thanks so much ! Appreciate it . Will have a watch shortly. Like you said it seems quite expensive for the logitech one for what it is. Is saw another one on amazon for 25 pound with low latency and aptx too
