The before/after really sold me on trying these mods myself! Cut little squares out of electrical tape for the mouse buttons, two layers on the stem that presses the switch and one layer on the inside, where the spring goes. Also replaced the switches with Kailh GM 2.0/Teals. Satisfied with the way it works now, precise hair triggers, Dr. Dre would be proud, lol!

KSGER T12 (жала разные, но для мышей чаще всего использую K(топорик). Припой - ПОС61, ПОС63, Kaina. Флюс - RMA-218, либо флюс в самом припое. Также применяю паяльную пасту механик. Очень удобная штука, когда нужно дозировать, либо что-то прихватить.

4:15 Что дает это обрезание? И прокладка пластыря в этот отсек? Если про пластырь еще понятно вроде бы, чтоб ход уменьшить, и как следствие люфт? А с обрезанием не очень понял

Избавляет от ударов кнопки о корпус микропереключателя. Если послушать 7:53, то отчетливо слышно этот неприятный призвук. Срезание этого пластика вкупе с более длинноходными микриками huano избаливо от этих неприятных звуков и ощущений. Мягкий нетканый пластырь (не тряпичный) выполняет роль заполнения люфта и смягчения обратного хода кнопки, чтобы не было призвуков уже при обратном ходе.

I'm having trouble reattaching the topshell of my g303 after installing the paracord , for some reason no matter how i adjust the cable my top shell won't close properly especially in the front - leaving a 2 cm gap from the shell to the buttons themselves and making my right clicks feel mushy and the mouse feel larger in my hand . Any suggestions? There's this weird plastic cutout that covers part of the rightside bottom shell under the pcb , could it be the problem?

@@orhun5 I managed to close it a bit more by shortening the paracord sleeve around the cable but it still doesn't close perfectly on the right-side and the clicks still feel unresponsive and mushy. I'm sorry I can't help you much :( I guess we're both stuck with the 130 $ g303 wireless as the best option available.

2-3 недели, г305. А причем тут микрики? В видео речь всегда только о мышках. Kaikh gm4 - на редкость своеобразные. Дурацкие микрики. Мне пока некуда их ставить. Обидно, что людям интересны электронные компоненты, которые выделяются только лишь цветом

Hey I installed new switches but unfortunately left button is not working anymore. I dont really know what might be problem or if i can fix it. New switch is fine that i know. Was wondering if anyone else might have had same problem and found a fix?

What was the point of the shell improvement where u clipped the plastic on the m1 and m2. Does it make the switch action smoother? My mouse really needs to get the same tlc 4 years of gaming hard on a mouse takes its toll.

this does not affect the smooth running. Protruding from the edges The plastic is cut to remove the unnecessary sound of a blow to the microswitch.

@@The_Albino_Dino 1 - dont press it at rear right corner =) 2- remove springs 3- you have to choose the number of plaster layers for your mouse yourself to achieve the perfect result. Every mouse (even within the same model) is different. Not much, but different

The tape helps to eliminate the creaks? I mean, mine starts to creak when i press it hard ( not too hard tho). If not, do you have any suggestion how to fix it? Or should i get a new shell?

The bandage should be very thin so that no gaps appear. You can also use t-7000 glue to thinly glue the squeaky parts of the case. Ideally, just buy the g302 case and use the bottom from the g303 case.

Wish I would of known that desoldering trick when I first tried to swap out switches, I practiced on some old mice which where easy but then when I tried my g303 I just couldn't get all the solder out, unfortunately he did not survive the operation :(

The tip of your soldering iron is not hot enough (either it is too small or the soldering iron is not powerful enough, maybe the temperature was too low). Don't forget that your old boards were probably thinner or had less metal on them. Maybe you didn't add flux, or you didn't add solder with lead. All of the above techniques would have 100% helped you to unsolder the microswitches. In my other videos I use a T12 soldering station. Потому что у 50м хуано имеется небольшой бортик вокруг толкателя. Из-за него был небольшой призвук при клике. Этот момент проявляется редко, но в г303 показал себя. По 518 ролика не будет с вероятностью 90%. В этой мышке особо нечего дорабатывать. Материала на ролик не хватит. Там только поменять ножки, кабель и микрики по желанию. Дорабатывать клик нормально и качественно не получится из-за отсутствия нормальных ограничителей в корпусе.

Чем старый корпус от нового отличается, кроме как новизной?

Новый корпус не потёртый, пластины боковых кнопок "не уставшие". Заметно отличается днище. Нижнее посадочное отверстие под винты не совпадает, а также бортики для фиксации линзы различны. Если бокорезами срезать выступающие части на дне нового днища от г302, а также срезать боковины у линзы от 303, то все сядет прекрасно и будет отлично работать. На камеру получились не самые приятные злазу кадры из-за пересвета. В любом случае, дно мыши в 99% случаев остается у всех целым и невредимым и хочется обновить старую любимую мышку.

@@massivemagnetics your statement is not true. All microswitches with a claimed life of 10 million or more have about the same life expectancy. The firmware in the mouse is much more important. How the "contact bounce" is configured in the mouse firmware. For example, omron micro switches themselves are very reliable. Note - many mice used to have Chinese-made omron for 5, 10 million clicks - and no double clicks were observed for years. The fact is that the manufacturers of gaming mice are chasing the minimum delay in the click. Because of this they reduce the "contact bounce". Because of this, even the slightest wear and tear on the micro switch results in a double click. And it doesn't really matter if it's ttc, huano, or kailh. I always select micro switches for each customer based on their preference for click feel. Everyone is different - one likes a light click, and someone likes a long stroke and a hard push. In this video, the customer wanted a firmer click and a longer microswitch stroke. These huano's are perfect for that role.

@@massivemagnetics Any switch is prone to double click after it accumulates enough dust or has poor quality control (Why Japanese Omrons are better checked than China made Omrons) Unless the button itself has a reservoir to hold the dust away from the internals, or if they're gold plated(Will still be affected, but will hold better than bare copper) or if your switch is optical or has a setting to select debounce delays Also popular never always means good
