Just a tip for anyone using a PS4 Pro and still having issues. After troubleshooting, the USB ports on the front of the console are not supported. Plug the dongle into one of the USB ports on the back of the system. That worked for me.

Thanks so much. I unboxed mine yesterday and spent about an hour trying to connect it to my PS5 and failed. Today I think, right, lets get online and see what I can find to help me. Turns out I hadn't found the USB dongle hahahha. Retrieved the box out of the bin, found the small square cardboard thing, and sure enough the little USB device was exactly where you showed us in this video! Phew! Thanks.

There is the mute button at the bottom of the left ear cup, next to the usb-c port. Hold it down for couple of seconds to change from bluetooth to usb mode. It plays a sound, and the light goes turquoise (light green-blue). Hold down again for bluetooth mode (deep blue color). When in usb mode, check your ps4 settings for all audio output to headset, and check volume.

You can not use bluetooth with playstation platforms for audio. You need the usb transmitter, as shown in the video. Hold down the mute button at the bottom of the left ear cup, next to the usb-c port, until the light on the headset turns light green / turquoise (hold again to change back to bluetooth, dark blue light). That's the usb mode. Plug the usb transmitter in to your PS4. Check audio settings so that all audio is set for the headset. Adjust volume. Happy gaming 👍🏻

See that the light is light green and not blue. That's the usb mode. The blue blinking light is Bluetooth mode.

Hey for some reason there is alert that ps4 does not support these. I got them as a present and there is a sing of the headphones logo but not sound.

Plug the usb dongle in the ps4. There is the mute button at the bottom of the left ear cup. Hold it down for couple of seconds to change from bluetooth to usb mode. You hear a beep with the headset. Check the ps4 audio settings and/or device settings to make sure the ps4 is using the headset as audio output, and that all audio is sent to the headset. I show the settings in this video.

Thanks. As it is with pretty much all modern wireless headsets, you can plug them in the charger while using them, and it will not affect the use. At least if you plug the headset into the device you're using it with (pc or console), or simply to a usb charger plugged in a wall power socket.

No problem. Happy to help. I just tested this: I connected the headset to my phone, and then plugged in a usb-c charger to the headset from the wall socket. No connection lost, and it charged.

I use any usb-c cable available. The headset cable port is usb-c, and the other end can be whatever needed. For example from my pc I use usb-a to usb-c cable, and I also use a phone charger with a usb-c to usb-c cable.

Light green for usb mode, dark blue for bluetooth mode. For ps5 you need the usb mode. Make sure you have enough volume and that your ps5 audio settings are correct.

Use the mute button to mute your microphone. Also check your microphone settings in the playstation menus so that the controller mic is not in use.

Hi there I am using it on PS4 it’s coming up recognises The device but no sound at all.. I have tried holding the mute button and waited for the beeps but still no sound. Does it work with other devices? PC and phone? If so, you have not set it up correctly with the Ps4. Test with phone, so you know when its in bluetooth mode. Then connect the dongle to your Ps4 and hold down the mute button to change to usb mode. Now you know its not inbluetooth mode and you should get sound. Check the volume and Ps4 settings to make sure its set as the output device.

The headset won't work with PC via bluetooth. Don't ask why, it just doesn't. I can't connect this headset to bluetooth on my PC, Ps5 or Xbox SX. It seems to work only with mobile devices via bluetooth. Go to the support website and download the update for the dongle. Maybe that will help. This headset doesn't work with Bluetooth on Playstation consoles. You have to use the usb dongle that comes in the box. See at 01:12 in the video for the dongle. See 04:10 for the use with PS4.

@@jazzart8398 At 4:20 I show how to check that all the audio is playing on the headset (very important), and check the volume setting there as well. Then, there is the mic mute button at the bottom of the left ear cup, next to the usb-c port. Make sure the headset is turned on and hold that mic mute button down until you hear a beep and you see the light on the headset turn light green (or light blue with green tint). That's how you change the mode from Bluetooth to USB. Bluetooth mode will give you darker blue color, so thats how you know which mode goes on when you hold down that button for a moment.

Do this: test with your phone that sound works. Next, plug in the usb in to your ps4. Now hold down the button at the bottom of the left ear up for as long as you hear a sound. Make sure you have enough volume, and it should work, as long as you have the ps4 settings correct. The button you need to hold down is the mode change from Bluetooth to usb mode.

@@jawnatin no. What ever you use as your display has nothing to do with it. You have fully updated ps4 system? If so, there must be some ps4 audio or device setting blocking the sound. You have no other audio devices connected to the ps4? And you're sure you're holding down the correct button for at least 2-3 seconds to change to usb mode? I'm sorry, it's very difficult to troubleshoot like this.

@@adyramses4027 are you using Bluetooth or usb? Are you connected to the device you're using? Two things to always chech if no sound: 1. Always add more volume 2. Change the mode by holding down the mute button for couple of seconds, at the bottom of the left ear cup, to see if you're in Bluetooth or usb mode. Bluetooth mode gives deep blue color on the led, usb mode light blue, almost green, light.

Connect with your phone through Bluetooth. When it works, you know the headset is in Bluetooth mode. Now plug in the usb in to your pc and hold down the mute button at the bottom of the left ear cup for 2 seconds until you hear a beep. Now the headset is in usb mode. Now right click the speaker icon in your Windows system tray and select audio settings, and check that your pc is using the headset as audio playback device. Now it should work 👍🏻

@@justink2481 the light only comes on when turning on or off. It's a power indication light, and connection search light. Thank god it won't be turned on always, since it would drain the battery faster. Green light on, red light off. If the red light shows when you turn the headset on, the battery is under 25%. Just use the on/off sound, it's clearer to me at least, and as you said, the volume sound.

Put the usb dongle into the pc or PlayStation usb port. Wait a moment for the system to recognize the dongle. Then there is the mute button at the bottom of the left ear cup. Hold it down for couple of seconds to change from bluetooth to usb mode (hold down as long as you hear a sound). Then it should work, as fas as you have the dongle working correct. Check audio settings to make sure the pc or playstation is using the headset as primary output, and volumes are audible.

You need to check the Windows or Playstation audio settings so that the system is using the correct audio output (on playstation check that it's giving you all audio, not just chat, check audio settings and device settings). You need to make sure the headset is set to usb mode, and finally make sure you have enough volume to hear anything. If you can't get it to work, then I'm sorry, but I can't help you any further. Contact Logitech support, or return the headset. Or ask someone in your family, or a friend to help you. I could check it all if I were there with you, but I'm not 🤷🏻‍♂️

No. Only one mode at a time. It's either bluetooth or usb mode, not both at the same time. On pc, with the usb mode, you can have 20 applications open at once and have audio in all of them, like youtube running on a browser, discord with friends, a game running, spotify playing music, etc all at once, but on PS4 you can only have one program running at once, so no multitasking. I don't know if ps5 can run multiple programs at once, let's say spotify playing music while you also play a game, but I doubt it. Just got my ps5 two days ago, so haven't had the chance to get familiar with all it's shenanigans yet.

Thats fairly standard, to have to manually toggle the wanted audio output in Windows. However, you can go to audio settings when the headset is in use and set the headset as default audio output. It should then default to the headset whenever it's connected to the pc, and default back to the other audio source when the headset is disconnected. In addition, make sure to unplug the headset's usb dongle whenever you're not using the headset, as Windows will still read the usb dongle, even if the headset is turned off. The dongle is always giving "audio output" signal to the motherboard when in any usb port, as it doesn't have a power on/off button.

@@kafsy3787 Turn on the headset. Hold down the mute button at the bottom of the left ear cup, next to the usb c port, until the light on the headset turns to turquoise/light green. That's the usb mode (darker blue is for bluetooth). The USB transmitter always requires the USB mode, whether you're on playstation or on pc. I can't say what the battery level of the headset is. You need to connect to your phone via bluetooth and from the bluetooth devices list on your phone you can see the battery level.

I have no experience on any Steel Series headsets, as I have none. So I can't compare them. However, the Steel Series Arctis Pro headset is a premium top-notch headset worth $200 (or over $300 for the wireless set), so you can't really compare them to an $80 headset. The sound quality of this headset is not top-notch, obviously, as this is only an 80 dollar stereo headset, but for the price, the quality is good. I've had no issues with it while listening to music, watching media content or playing on PC/Ps4. I have a Logitech G733 wireless headset, and a Logitech Pro X wired headset, and of course those headsets have a better sound quality overall. They also cost double the price. So you have to take into account the price versus the quality. You can't expect top sound quality from a mid-budget headset. You get what you pay for (for the most parts). I've been using this headset mainly in bluetooth with my phone, and the battery can easily last for a week in my use. I use it approx 1-2 hours a day. So the battery holds pretty well, and it charges pretty fast. Leave it plugged in the charger once or twice a week over night is what I do. Also, there is no specific software for the headset on PC. At least the Logitech G Hub won't give you any controls for the headset. If you are looking to get a top quality headset with proper adjustments and all, this headset might not be for you. This is for those who are looking for a good quality headset for a good price.

Make sure the headset is set as the input audio device, then make sure it's not muted. The mute button is at the bottom of the left ear cup. Press it once to mute / unmute, hold down for couple of seconds to change between the usb mode and bluetooth mode. Also check it's not muted in ps4 settings.

Make sure the headset is in usb mode. Hold down the mute button at the bottom of the left ear cup for couple of seconds, and you should see a bright blue light come on on the led, almost greenish color. Then it's in usb mode. Then make sure your ps4 is using that device as audio output, and volume is up to hear anything.

@@botluist8671 have you checked the ps5 output volume? Press ps button, in the lower menu select the audio and check volume. Also be sure to max out the volume from the headset's own volume buttons. They might be separate volume controls. I'm not sure because I've never used this headset with my ps5.

See that the ps5 audio output volume is at max. Then you have the volume up and down buttons on the left ear cup of the headset (+ and -). Press the plus button many times until you hear a sound telling you that the headset volume is at max level.

I just tested this: changing to usb mode gives a light blue light (almost greenish), and the Bluetooth mode has a deep dark blue light. If it's blinking, it's searching for a connection. Red light means low battery.

Please do not buy anything Logitech mouse, headphone, whatever, nothing avoid they sucks add a few dollars and buy better stuff. Their stuff don't last more than 3 months and then they don't want to replace, giving you hours of troubleshooting. What is there to troubleshoot in a headset?

Sorry to hear you have had a disappointing experience. All products, when bought new, have a warranty of at least 1-2 years. If something breaks in normal use during that time, you can always request an RMA from the retailer. If a retailer won't respect a warranty of a product, contact either Logitech directly in your region, or your local consumer protection authorities. I've had many Logitech mice, headsets and keyboards for many years, all without any problems. You can't state that all is shit just because you have had a bad experience.

I was getting ear ache because of them... a lot of people complained about tightness. You know what that means? They are not doing any research on their products because it costs money. Please don't get me started. Then you go to customer service. They sent me about 20 trouble shooting tasks, I am not exaggerating...deleting drivers on my pc, dismantling the headphone itself to get to the reset pin ( I am not lying). They told me to do that. And not just once, every time you contact them you start over... FOR a HEADPHONE!!!

Yes, Bluetooth won't work with ps4, ps5 nor pc. That's why you have the usb dongle. Personal inconvenience doesn't necessarily mean a bad product. It just means that perhaps you're better off checking out a different product then. As a reminder, none of the pc/playstation headsets work with Bluetooth, they all work with a wireless usb dongle. I have 4 of them, between 70-200€, and all use a dongle. It's a standard for all wireless headsets for multiplatform use.
