It looks like a high quality product. I have never owned a wheel with a separate shifter, so I don’t know if it would be worth the extra expense. Paddle shifters seem to work just fine.

One can’t really comment with full conviction or knowledge without having owned or at least tried a shifter hands-on. Occasionally I used to paddle-shift on my G25 and used my shifter in sequential mode as handbrake.

The only issue is the Brake on the G920 model. In the earlier G25/27/29 wheels, the brake had a simple non progressive spring (many people replace it with the aftermarket GTEYE progressive spring ....... it makes a huge difference). Unfortunately the G920 model has the same brake spring, but Logitech decided to put a small rubber plug in the spring (to make the brake feel firmer). Many people don't like it and take it out due to a feeling of reduced travel in the brake. New Logitech drivers also make it nessessary to keep the rubber plug in if you are on PC (otherwise you will have a big deadzone).

I love these wheels. I put in 1000 hrs on the g27 and another 1000 on g29. You can literally abuse these wheels and still works like it's brand new. Can't wait abuse the g2930.

I have this exact wheel. It’s very good and got it for the same reason for Forza. Just need to learn how to set up the wheel settings for the game cause it’s unplayable at default settings. I’m not sure yet how to get it set yet but getting there.

@@samdan4175 Best thing to do is watch a older video of gtofast he basically makes vids with the wheel and he puts all his settings in the description for forza. That's what I did anyways works like a dream in my opinion.

I REALLY just don't recommend getting a Logitech wheel. I've owned the G920 for a year now and let me tell you EVERYTIME I play with the wheel I want to break it but the $400 price tag stops me. I like to play drifting games and simulation games and this wheel annoys the living crap out of me. It rattles like crazy cause of its gear driven system, so every time I turn the wheel in a car thats engine is on in the game my entire desk shakes like crazy not knowing if my desk is gonna last another day. Its not very smooth at all and it has good force feedback but you can't use more then 30% of it in games without causing a earthquake. Plus the shifter that Logitech sells for the wheels are so bad quality no where near worth the price they sell for even if it was only $30 i'd be disappointed. I constantly get the urge to play with a wheel then depression kicks in realizing I own a g920. Plus the other Logitech wheels are the same. Just save up for a decent Thrustmaster wheel. More expensive but FAR more worth it for the long run. That's my opinion anyhow.

@@ovall4052 Actually my desk is very sturdy considering it cost me $1,700 but even now I have a separate wheel stand but that doesn't change the fact that the wheel is a gear driven wheel and it feels cheap and not smooth like the higher end Thrustmaster wheel. Its still an okay beginner wheel for casual players.

Just got one in Madison heights Michigan. They go out of stock and come right back in. You can hold one for a dollar with any kind of card for pickup or delivery. Makes a big difference coming from not having one.

OH NO! I just bought this a minute ago on Amazon (truth) but I didn’t see this review yet! Didn’t realize that Wicked dabbled in this area 🏎 til now! Oh well, I hope the G920 is good (no shifter). Now, time to watch this video to see if my research confirms that this is a fantastic beginner sim racing wheel. (I will be trying this on my VR PC-Quest 2 Airlink setup… so 🙏 pray for me!) 🤣

Is a great wheel for it's price. The Pedals are good, but use potentiometers that need cleaning often. Hall effect sensors are available for the pedals which solves that problem. The hall effect sensor in the wheel can cause issues when dirty, and to clean this , it requires stripping the whole wheel down. After 4 years of moderate use, the set has proved to be quite problematic. The gear shifter for this set is very poor quality over all.

@@wizard-wm7gh I don’t think anyone should get the G923… It usually goes for $400 and that’s getting quite close to the Moza R5 bundle at $600 which is direct drive and significantly better. Not to mention it has the same performance and motor as the G920 which you can get used nowadays for 1/4 of the price of a new G923.

Hello, I have a problem, I have a g920 and I play with the X series, I feel that the vibration reacts a little earlier than the picture, the steering function is appropriate and there is no movement delay, only the vibration works a little earlier than the picture, for example: when The accident vibrates a few milliseconds before the collision!! I wanted to know if this is a problem with the game or the wheel???? Do you also have this problem??? Is there a solution???? (The TV is also in game mode x90j) Does the command have a special setting??? Thankful

Question remains did you test it with different games ? and what games ? Only thing to know for sure you don't have a defect in the wheel is to try it on a PC. Different X Series machine ... to be 100% sure. If the result all the same and you did adjust feedback in some games. Time to contact Logitech and asked them because this is a really strange problem 😳

This is indeed a Force Feedback wheel. Take note that it only works on pc with certain games perferctly. On consoles it's a different story.

Not the G920, but I used to run my G25 in MAME for OutRun and Hard Drivin’. The latter took some doing to configure the shifter correctly, but in the end it was really worth it. Felt quite authentic.

@@twodogz5575 : OutRun has been in MAME forever. Turbo OutRun and OutRunners for a while. However, I don’t know what emulator handles Sega Rally…? EDIT: Apparently“Supermodel” handles Sega Model 3 hardware, although I can’t say if it handles Logitech wheels properly. 🤷🏻‍♂️
