It's a testament to the brand that they're at G29 and the other versions you mentioned. I've never owned a steering wheel in my nearly 40 years of gaming, which probably stems from having only enjoyed a dozen or so games, which were mostly arcade. They also felt flimsy. This thing is really nice looking. Appreciate the metal accents that give it a real world feel. I'm not surprised there are mod kits. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah... i'm interested in so much products. Racing love playing some Forza here 😅 In he passed I had 3 cheap racing wheels.. 3 monitors and we would play Forza 2 against each other for days... weeks 😁

As a plug and play wheel with the PS3 and PS4 it is totally worth it. I also recommend getting a cheap wheel stand like the GT Art ones. It really improves the experience.

It works in Ps5 too, which is quite impressive, considering it released, back on PS3. I’m new to sim racing and have g29 with gt omega Titan cockpit, 1 level up from the ART cockpit, you mentioned. I know enough to know that the main 3 negative about this wheel, that high end sim guys will always point out, that don’t really matter to first time wheel users are, 1 small wheel (feels like toy if you have big hands) yes to an extent but once you start playing, you won’t notice. 2 it’s gear driven (low end and isn’t as smooth as mid range Belt and high end Fanatec, Mozza etc, This is true, the wheel does feel a bit clunky , when doing big turns but once again, this really won’t bother a first timer because they will be having way more fun then they ever did, with controller, to even care. 3 loud forcefeedback clunky sounding and the forcefeedback is weak, compared to high end. For example, g29 is around 2.5 Nm power , thrustmaster have at least 5Nm and Fanatec go up to 8Nm of power. I was watching a KZbinr who has a wheel base that cost £3000 alone , with nothing else and part of the reason is that it outputs a crazy 30Nm but once again, the weaker, less detailed forcefeedback from g29 will not be a problem for first timers because they have no prior experience and in fact, most new wheels users will even need to turn down forcefeedback. It’s automatically set to 100% on PS4/5 and if like me, you go in to first race, without going in settings, the forcefeedback will be very strong and a bit alarming lol. So in short, if you’ve loved racing games for years and have never played with a wheel, you’ll really love g29. Especially, if like me, you remember playing the odd racer in arcade, as a kid, with wheel pedals etc. You will notice loud clunky forcefeedback, you will notice on big turns, the gear driven wheel will not feel really smooth but again for new guys, it is not a problem. Let me put it in to perspective, why this g29 is great for new guys. I bought Logitech g29 for £215 , gear shifter for £40and I bought a pretty solid rig called gt omega Titan , with Rs6 racing seat for £410. So my wheel, foot pedals,, gear shifter and cockpit with a racing seat, cost a total of £665. A high end wheel base alone can cost over £3000. A high end set up will cost between minimum about £1000-£5000+ . Oh, I may have named something slightly wrong due to being new but don’t shoot me. Most of this info is deff correct.

I'm playing F1 2021 with keyboard now. Want to get into sim racing a bit and been looking at Logitech G29 and Thrustmaster T300. Reliability being a factor as well heard the thrustmaster has some issues. Not sure if I should go for Logitech and then later when Fanatec has their stuff in stock upgrade to that later down the line. Anything but a keyboard would be good now though 😅

i even own an old trustmaster wheel for old PCs with 15pin Din Port...it has no rumble function but is very good in quality terms

Forza Horizon 4 have poor support for racing wheels and plays better with the controller, so I wouldn't buy a wheel just for FH5

You can change ingame for example you can use gear shifting only without clutch. For example Project Cars is a great game with many options and good wheel support.
