Logitech K270 Wireless Keyboard Setup And Review

In this video I review the Logitech K270 Full Size Wireless Keyboard and go through the setup process. This keyboard has a number pad, a on/off button, adjustable tilt legs, and a place to store the wireless USB receiver when you are not using it. I show you step by step how to setup and install the Logitech Wireless Keyboard. I plan on making future videos on this keyboard about how to change the batteries, and to go some troubleshooting steps if the keyboard is not connecting to your laptop or computer. Can you show how the enter key in the middle of the keyboard attaches? I have the same one, but something started affecting my key’s ability to press down and it would get stuck very shortly at times, but super annoying and noticeable. I took off the key to try and see what was wrong with it, but it hasn’t attached properly again since. I tried looking at other similar shaped keys, and they had the same pin attachment method, with it being under the key and it slides beneath these two plastic pieces that hold down the pin. I’m not sure if I broke any important parts for it to properly connect again, so it would be helpful if you could make a video showing or explaining how these pins work. I’m not keyboard savvy at all, really, but all the keys parts look normal, at least to me. I tried looking up solutions before too, but any video just isn’t really relevant to my issue, let alone they’re showcasing a regular office keyboard. Hopefully, even after 11 months from this video being uploaded you’ll see my comment.

my K270 keyboards are about 6 months old, maybe more. I got a couple keyboards because I liked the concept. But don't waste your money. They no longer work and/or there is no way to distinguish which wireless dongle goes with which keyboard and which mouse. The computer beeps as the dongle is inserted but no keyboard/mouse works with the USB dongle.

No, this keyboard only works using the dongle there is no bluetooth connectivity. You can try K380

I have the k270 I got second hand off of someone but it didn’t come with a wireless USB receiver and there’s no storage port for one on the back like yours. I was hoping it would just Bluetooth connect straight to whichever device I want to use it with. Can you help with that?

If it’s a go-between for Bluetooth it would work, I don’t remember it having an existing port or if I was just mentioning the storage space for one when I wrote this comment initially- I’ll have to look at the keyboard again.

A green "A" identical to the symbol on the Caps Lock key will light up, next to the OFF-ON switch, to let you know you are in Caps Lock mode.

@@joeycabbage4282 It won't light, if the keyboard is not paired. The fact that it doesn't light shouldn't be a reason for it not to pair. You need to make sure the receiver is plugged into a working USB port, and that you are running the Logitec Unifying app, with drivers.

Should have shown the software package that it comes with for customization of the macro keys. Specifically remapping the power / pc off button. Mine refuses to connect to the apps anymore. Has awful range, constantly loosing connection. Even a few feet away with a pillow in-between the signal, it will drop. Just trash tbf. While its a decent keyboard, its main purpose to be wireless is a complete failure. Go to grab my keyboard as im sitting or laying down and accidently shut down the whole pc. FYI this can cause serious issues with programs being shutdown improperly.

Our K270 doesn't contain the hidey hole for the wireless receiver. D'oh!

If you got the mouse with it the hide hole is in the mouse battery compartment.
