I really like this mouse, but honestly I can also recommend the mx master 3. its more ergonomic and feels more natural to hold. I used the mx master for many years. As I explain in the video, here I simply chose the compact size over ergonomics.

A really nicely explained and relevant review - loved the part where you explained the 2 ways of holding it and how different size could work depending on that. ​@@TomScryleus I am actually comparing it back to back with the K380 that you have and also with the MX Keys normal version - I have been using these 2 for the past year already. I am not yet completely sold on the Mini version, it's generally well built but it's got a few things I am not convinced of: - the backlight is bleeding out more than the larger version, it's kind of distracting as you see the led light from under the keys when you have it in front of you on the desk. - when the backlight is off, the keys are hardly visible as they are engraved in a darker shade of grey than the K380 or even the big MX Keys so using it without backlight is not really ideal. Especially that it's kind of crowded and if you are looking for that symbol you needed it can be tricky. - the bluetooth is not so stable on my desktop's adapter, I had issues with the desktop connection being unresponsive and laggy at times - the laptop one worked well so far. waiting for the Bolt dongle which will probably be quick and stable. Just wrote this with a mix of the K380 and the Mini - the keys have a softer press on the Mini but I really like the chiclets and shape on the K380 as well. If the K380 had backlit keys it would have been perfect. For now I guess the Mini is the most complete mini product around for general productivity and I hope to get fully used to is soon enough.

This is a really good video, very clear and interesting. I fell out with the Magic Mouse a few years ago, because I found it inconsistent and stubborn. At present I’m using an iPad Air 4 without a Magic Keyboard and am soon to decide which way to go when I buy a new computer. Should I need a 🐭, this one looks cool. Thank you Tom.😊

My MX Anywhere 2S can have the scroll wheel move left and right which I use to shift desktops. Does this new one do the same movements - which can be configured from Logi Options? Thanks

Yes and no. They eliminated the left & right toggle of the scroll wheel. Instead, you hold down on one of the side buttons while scrolling in order to use horizontal scrolling. Not sure if that's something programmable to allow it to shift between desktops.

Yup. The master is too big and this is too small. The marathon mouse and old vx nano are perfect but not multi device.

Great review, I just got mine today. Does the mouse work when you plug it in using the cable? I wanted to test it out if I can use the mouse while charging without it being connected to Bluetooth or is the cable just for charging the mouse?

I love both the MX Master 3 and the MX Anywhere. I have the MX for my desk and keep my Anywhere in my travel bag. Bring able to switch between my 2 work laptops and my personal laptop so easily is my favorite feature of both move and my MX Keys keyboard

I have MX Master 3 and Im having same issue you mentiones about the way you handle the mouse, just with fingers or with full hand. For "just fingers" guys MX Master 3 is not confortable. Im thingking I did a mistake buying MX Master instead MX Anywhere. Hope not.

In my workflow mx master is not a good mouse but I still want a full size mouse, mx anywhere is indeed a good mouse but it's not a full size mouse that really I prefer so is there any alternative for this mouse.

​@jcap8391 yes m650 is the best mouse ever that I have used. I'm using m650L really great. The feel you hold the mouse very comfort and premium. If this mouse have functionality of multi device, it could be great instead of mx master.

I was actually considering this because I use a mouse with both hands. I do a lot of work with excel and word and using both prevents my hands from getting worn out. The free scroll wheel is fantastic, glad there’s one on this mouse. There’s not much of a market for ambidextrous mice, but looks like I’ll get this one!

Hi, My MX Master 3 has gotten sticky because the rubber coating has worn down even though I haven’t used it that much. Does the MX Anywhere 3 have the same rubber coating? I’m looking to get a more compact mouse, and it seems like a good option, but I’d like to avoid the same problem with the coating. Cleaning it doesn’t do the trick, rubbing alcohol supposedly wears down the rubber even more. Thanks for any input!

not yet... but I remember that the older MX master had rubber on the wheel that got so flimsy and dirty. its good they skipped those rubbers on the wheel at least.

@@TomScryleus Yeah, I experienced that too, hoped the V3 would be better. Due to my work being very mobile, I switched to the Anywhere and haven’t looked back. It’s super convenient, and it has far less rubber. And, by pressing either the forward or back buttons while scrolling brings back horizontal scrolling. So it’s a much better experience than I’d feared. Loving the vids, thanks for getting back to me :)

They say the material isn't rubber anymore but silicon. Not sure how that wears off overtime but I only remember that the silicon helps in avoiding discoloration. I do think you can avoid the rubber from getting sticky but it does require you to be vigilant about the mouse: cleaning it from time to time, washing your hands when it gets oily when using the mouse, avoid heat.

Yes there are mice with incredible battery life. But honestly I really don't see a problem, as you long as you can wire it and still use it. (compared to apples magic mouse.)

Nice mouse but the worst after-sales service in the World. Mine was still well within warranty when the left button became sticky. I spent three months emailing the service department whose staff have Indian-sounding names and from their use of flowery English I assume that their office is actually in India, probably in Bangalore. They write polite, robotic-sounding English but they do not understand it and they are not authorized to use their brain or to deviate from what the computer tells them to do. I asked dozens of times to have my claim escalated or at least for it to be dealt with by the department's manager, and the very same moron just kept on copying me his previous email. Finally, I wrote to the company's Secretary at Head Office, and with very bad grace I have just received a replacement mouse. And that is also the very last Logitech product that I will ever let into my office.

its already a 94% like. Judging from that the video is fine as it is. Im sorry i didnt cover everything you needed. But im sharing my personal experience using the mouse and what I like about it. Reviewers select what they found enjoyble. Not all tech reviews cover every single feature. You want that, then I recommend Gerald undone. He covers every single detail. personally I dont really care for the extra features. All the extra fluff is just to sell more units. Most people use a mouse like me. Its a mouse. you point and click. And it works great for that.
