For the keyboard to light up automatically when your hand approach the keyboard, your ambient light must be very dim. I tried to approach my keyboard with my light on it won't turn on. When i switch off my light and approach the keyboard, it works like charm! Anyway good unboxing. Keep it up!

Hey! You mentioned about 3:40 into the video that the keyboard is both wired and wireless. Can you confirm that the keyboard is able to be used wired-mode only? I can only get mine to be used wireless.

Is the wrist rest useful? You know it is a low profile keyboard so if you're not like have to stretch your wrist down to the keyboard to type

Um...call me techy ignorant, but how do you "just go to the logitech website and download the software" if you have no other keyboard on which to type, and you can't get the doggone MX Keyboard to work?

I have figured this out. You need to HOLD DOWN the device key for a few second until it starts flashing rapidly.

the usb-dongle worked only to that moment when I tried to pair my laptop vi bluetooth, which works fine. Now I have to buy a blutooth dongle to my PC. The instruction on the box suggests pressing Fn-P and connecting USB- dongle. doesn't work. No way to reset keyboard to factory defaults, at least not documented. When I look at the keyboard - nobody has really thought about such scenario - switching between PC without bluetooth and Laptop with bluetooth. Pity, not a cheap keyboard. Update - this keyboard in the Norwegian layout (+ a mixed version - pc/mac; I think there is a mac-only version too) made the whole story even worse - I don't think I had found all characters I needed as a programmer before I threw it away. a TKL version would have more appeal to me, BTW.

Hi, it is possible for me. my MX keys is currently linked to 3 devices. my main laptop via the provided dongle (less latency than bluetooth, which I prefer while gaming), my work laptop via bluetooth, and lastly my tablet via bluetooth too. Seamless transitions whenever I switch between buttons 1,2,3. Have you try unpairing and pairing your device? no hard resets, but you can hold on the pair button to unpair. Set your dongle to the first device, then pair the other 2 devices using bluetooth

To your PC (USB) or to the electric socket, if you have a USB to socket adapter. Close to the on/off button there is the charging plug. In my case, the keyboard had a cable that did not match the charging jack. Luckily my phone has one of those new jacks.

The switch buttons on the keyboard are broken. The only move the keyboard to the selected computer but not the mouse! This makes the function useless

I don't have a logitech mouse, so the function is very useful.

It's not useless, you're just not informed. You need a Logitech mouse with profile switching, like MX Master 3.

If you have a windows, couldn't be simpler. Nothing to set up. Just turn on bluetootch, press the control keys on top of insert/home/page up and it will ask you to type a number, to make sure it is you. Thats it
