One thing you missed is how the MX Master 2S can be used on top of a glass surface like a table where as other mice would fail to work. I don't know it the MX Anywhere 2S has that same feature but you can check that out by looking at the bottom of the mouse where the laser is at and see if it has two lasers if so it has the same feature.

Nice! I always asked myself how the fk he Anywhere 2s was capable of usage on a glass surface while ALL my other mice with laser sensor were uncapable of. Looked after years of using now in the sensor, and yes, it got basically at least 2 sensors.. a green laser (i guess the main sensor) and a good old, but mostly very dim classical infrared sensor

4:21 cant drag and drop.......but can right click and copy/paste/file transfer, which IMO to most people might not be a selling concept.......but to others is a rare and great appeal among other capabilities this mouse brings. This is going to be for my mom who will no longer have to use multiple mice in her office she should get a kick out of this. Any auto/service technician/manager would love this mouse for doing estimates write ups etc.

second scroll wheel can be replaced by holding shift and using the regular scroll wheel to side scroll in video editing and audio applications

+Bill Gates Certainly not parading anything around on purpose. Purchased both mice on Amazon, and at the time of the filming I genuinely didn't notice the difference in the 2/2S. Literally received 2 sealed boxes, so I have no idea what happened but it's a lesson learned and unfortunately I can't do too much about it at this point =\

The box, yes it was 2S, but for the most part of the video, it was MX Anywhere 2 which is weird.

It also says, on the back of the mouse itself, that's its the Anywhere 2 (not the 2s). Look at 1:27.

Er, it might literally say it on the box, but anybody who knows what they are talking about will know just from the colour that it is the MX Anywhere 2 on show, not the MX Anywhere 2S. The fact that it also says MX Anywhere 2 on the bottom of the mouse itself pretty much confirms what InstinctDT correctly pointed out before somebody else tried being clever, eh Assa?

I read a lot about MX Master 2s and lots of people said that this one has a lot of bluetooh connection issues. Is it fixed right now? If you're planning to buy this mouse just to use Logitech options software, it's not worth, there are lots of software that can do the same using whatever mice like X-Mouse Button Control.

I have heard in several reviews that the side buttons are now too far back since they put the vertical scroll wheel in. I am also wondering about the rechargeable batteries and how long they last. What was the big deal about going to rechargeable in the first place regular batteries should last a long time. The Master is more comfortable but then it IS big. I think the sweet price for the Master should be $79 and THAT is pushing it.

One thing that I considered was that I really haven''t had a lot of luck with rechargeable mice in the past. It doesn't matter how long they last, they'll always quit at the worst possible time. The good news here is the the worst that happens is you just plug the micro-usb cord into the front of the mouse and you have to use it like a normal corded mouse for the hour or so that it takes to recharge. The other rechargeable mice I owned had to be placed in a cradle to recharge which was much, much worse.

There is one major failure in the design of this mose It's uttterly assinine.... The Reverse, and especially, FORWARD buttons. They are impossible to use. The fwd button is damn near impossible to find. The anywhere is totally superior in this regard. Unfortuantely the Anywhere 2S refuses to pair to my 2016 MacBook Pro Touchbar.

Barry Graham I have the anywhere 2s and it's not that silent. Ironically, I like my $10 mouse more that I got from Staples recently - the m330. That one is labeled as silent and is very silent. The ergonomics is also good on my hand.

Hi Ronald, Thank you for getting back to me. Yes, i just ordered an M330 as it is the only mouse i can find that is truely silent. I reviewed soooo many videos on KZbin and only a couple actually demonstrated the click sound of the left and right buttons. I currently use a Logitech rechargeable, bluetooth wireless mouse but the click noise is annoying when traveling on an intercity train in the quite carriage - for such a small object it generates annoyance with other travellers. It appears no company wants to produce a truely silent no click rechargeable, bluetooth, wireless mouse. Gap in the market perhaps? I think so!

MX Master - Moving coursor and using MB4,5&6 or vertical mouswheel impossible! I've been confronted with the problem that my mouse does not work at all - or so i thought. MB1 and 2 seem to be working perfectly fine, the primary and secondary mousewheel as well. But, as said before, all the other functions of the mouse do not work. I plugged in my other mouse (Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000) and it works perfectly fine. I tried every singly USB port for the BT adapter but as expected it did not help. Nor did unninstalling and then reinstalling the mouse itself and the Logitech software running it (Already checked, it's the recent version). Restarting my PC changed nothing. Ah and btw, I already had this problem a few months ago but after doing all that i discribed before and then ragequitting it suddenly worked again. I have absoloutely no idea what to do anymore, help would be apreciated. -Diabulus

Actually, no. I recently own MX Master 2S and connected it to my laptop, smartphone, and iPad through Bluetooth only. The dongle is still in the box, LOL!
