The IEM community on KZbin uses really nice cables as both a fashion accessory and a means to better quality sound. It's really a big deal! For example, the weave pattern of the nicer cables and the # of strands of wire, the % of metals used, the wire covering, the color, the finish, the connector type and quality, etc. The cost can be from $20 to a $1,000 or more.

Wired earphones will always be superior to Bluetooth. Here are some advantages Better sound quality Better noise isolation Better mic quality They're cheaper and easier to replace. No worries about battery degradation since these aren't battery-operated. I own several budget IEMs, and they're my primary use for earphones. KZ and KBears have a great selection, and they sound better than Airpods and even the pros.
@yue57423 ай бұрын
When you ask someone why they prefer wired headphones over wireless ones one answer almost always given: Wired headphones sound better. Do they tho? Most 3.5mm jacks built in to smartphones sucks. They have poor quality DAC/AMP which is unable to drive high quality demanding headphones. Yes there are the few exceptions like LG V series but that's about it. RIP LG Smartphones I am using an Xperia 1 IV and I don't use the built in headphone jack because it can't properly drive demanding headphones. On the go I use a pair of wireless headphones with ANC. The benefit of it is the on headphone DAC which gives consistent sound quality and signature no matter what device I use to play music on. At home I connect my phone to a FiiO BT5 portable DAC + HD600 for quality listening So, the argument of wired headphones having higher sound quality than TWS when they are plugged into a smartphone is BS. On a dedicated DAP that's a whole different story. Convenience of having a 3.5mm jack is subjective too. I can argue that waterproofing phones by removing the 3.5mm jack is more convenient in the long run Its not the end of the world tho. If you are still hellbent on using wired headphones just get a USB C to 3.5mm dongle. They cost almost nothing in the scale of audio listening equiment. Apple USB-C to 3.5mm dongle have decently good audio quality and can drive all manner of IEMs and less demanding headphones. Just buy a few and permanently attach them to your 3.5mm headphones and et viola you have a few pair of modernized wired headphones that works anywhere
