An horizontal scroll wheel like the MX3's would be a must on a MX Vertical 2 in my opinion.

I really wanted to love this mouse but it was just too big and loud for me. I bought a Lift a year ago and am really happy I went that route.

I was using the MX Master 3S, but I switched to the MX Vertical as I started feeling pain in my wrist. The 3S's horizontal scroll and click quality are missing in this one. Most importantly, it still supports Logitech Unifying via USB but does not support Logi Bolt. Bluetooth connection and Logitech Unifying sometimes cause lag with the M1 MacBook Pro. Keep this in mind when placing your order. If a second version is released with Logi Bolt support, it would truly be amazing.

Thanks for this, it's really useful as we go into the yearly sales. I've got a fairly simple Kensington ergonomic mouse at home and I've been surprised how much I like it. I even game with it. The one I have for work right now is a huge, cheap-feeling plastic ergonomic mouse from Evoluent, which does the job (and does have a little shelf for your pinkie which is nice) but I've been wanting an upgrade. It's a real shame the MX Vertical doesn't have the mouse wheel I adore from the MX2, which I've had for years. I'm glad it has the three BT connections though. I hate dongles. I am sick of dongles. Dongles need to die. We've had Bluetooth in everything for decades.

Using a mouse every day in my office job, I had an inflammation at the bottom of my wrist earlier this year (and it was from using a regular mouse), so I purchased the Logitech "Logi Lift" mouse, just to see how it would go. I also bought this "MX Vertical" (sent back to my favourite PC hardware store by a previous buyer who didn't like it(?), and put back up for sale at a cheaper price), and the more "curvy" "Logi Lift" kind of feels better. I agree that the "MX Vertical" is not for people with small hands. The mouse wheel feels fine to me. And I like the "loud" clicks; don't remove those.☺ One thing I don't "like" in the "MX Vertical" is the non-removable battery, which the "Lift" mouse does not have.

I hope they update the Logitech Vertical such a good mouse i have the Lift also but if you have larger hands its not good the vertical with silent clicks would be ideal.

My top wish is a side scroll. Use it constantly on the MXMaster3, but vertical is so much better on my wrist.

What is the weight with the battery in the lift vs the vertical?
@CameronDoughertyTechАй бұрын
I just weighed mine and the Vertical comes in at 127g (4.4 oz.). The Lift is slightly heavier at 133g (4.69 oz.). Interestingly, this is a bit lighter than advertised (on Logitech’s website) for the Vertical, and a bit heavier than advertised for the Lift. There’s natural variability in all products so it might just be that. Either way, they’re pretty close in weight. Since the Lift is smaller, it winds up feeling more solid and the Vertical feels more hollow. Hope that helps!

I have 2 MX vertical - at work and home. Love it. A version for lefties should also be on your wishlist.
