2:59 vs 8:58 Something I really appreciate about Snyder Lois is that she is her own character. Josstice Lois is just used as a tool by Batman/Alfred to get Superman to calm down. All she does is show up and causes Superman to lose interest in everyone else. Since Batman is tossed off-screen, her telling Superman to go looks more like a selfish act to get some privacy with him. It just feels like Batman made the right call in using her correctly. Snyder Lois shows up of her own volition and recognizes what's going on. She herself intervenes WHILE Superman is lasering Batman, which could have been hella risky. She positions herself between Batman and Superman and stares him down from the sky. When she holds him and tells him to go, it feels a lot more like she is trying to get him away from hurting Batman and the rest of the Justice League. In the Snyder cut, Lois Lane is basically a hero for saving everyone and bringing back Clark Kent herself

Rude innuendo about her dead boyfriend, and then cheesy remarks like "you smell good" I would say that this is a far better Lois Lane story than the theatrical version.

I have a small critique about this comparison. I wish it was edited so that the Martha/Lois conversations were somewhat in sync, and then the Lois saves Batman scene, and then the "you smell good/you spoke" bit. I get that this way emphasizes just how short a part she has. but it would be neat to see both story arcs with those scenes in sync.

One thing: Lois Lane on Joss Whedon farm scene looks WEIRD. that being said, there is something else I feel like, for the girls who are watching and loving lois, is very sad and very poor what they did to her character. They cutted all her best investigation scenes on BvS. She chasing a story. i didn't bought her pregnancy. the timeline for the story would be all wrong if she was pregnant. makes no sense.

First of all: I love the lighting in Snyder’s movie at 11:16. It reminds me so much of some of the Smallville scenes from the Richard Donner Superman. Speaking of which, in Joss Whedon’s nonexistent movie on the left, there are moments in the reshoots - similar to Richard Lester’s reshoots of Superman 2 after Donner was removed from the movie (noticing a pattern here?) - where the voices don’t match the actors. Talk about a hack job. Also nice transition on 12:25

Cuz then it’ll mean that Martha had the problems since when Clark was still alive and she STILL didn’t want to bother Clark or Lois about it), J’onn doing a big meddler move (Entire movie plots were structured that way in the past for both comedy and catharsis purposes, “You two NEED to be together!” and the likes) and then planting the visit into the real Martha’s head later is a needed move.

To be honest, I wasn't happy with Snyder's version of Lois Lane. It was good because has more scenes of her. But she doesn't say anything. Her last line was " You're really back!" which is absolutely sad. She was a inspiration in BvS and Man of Steel, yet I still they reduce her to a damsel, portraying "the wife, the mother who is relying on her husband" which is absolutely fucking sad. Specially for younger girls who are inspired by her. But none of this "is relevant" for the dc fans because they just care about the justice league.

She is a human being too right and she has feelings. In BvS, she had to do a lot of hardwork to prove her love is not guilty only for her to see him die in front of her. It should have affected her in a great way right... Once he is no more, she felt pointless to fight for good until Martha motivated her again to rise above her feelings and start working. At the same moment Clark comes back as hope comes back to Lois in a symbolic way. It's definitely not traditional Lois Lane but it fit the narrative of Zack's vision.

I guess even Amy Adams is pretty unhappy with the character. We can see that in Joss cut, she has stupid lines but in the Snyder Cut she didn't say anything at all. Anything relevant. They could have shown a different side of Lois. The tough side, she struggling the grief but chasing a story. Also, it's very fake that pregnancy: The baby wouldn't have survived the events she went through Batman Vs Superman. And it's saying in 2017 but BvS was in 2015. ( 18 mounths after Man of Steel events, that happen in 2013!) so she was suppose to have her baby by now. The point is, they could have bring another side of Lois but they really dropped the ball of her.
