Lojo just a tip, around your little pond any place where water runs in or can run into it you should put river rock there, that'll help so the water doesn't bring in so much mud, that's more than likely what called Timmy, the mud and dirt takes oxygen out of the water super fast, I had to do it with my little pond it worked great 👍just don't use any kind of limestone

Hey lojo, love the channel!! My theory on Timmy is not enough food. Bass eat a lot & he was already skinny or he was already on his way out when you put him in & he just couldn’t recover. Bama Bass grows big bass in aquariums & back yard pond so it’s definitely possible to grow a giant. They just need more sustainable food source. Love ya man can’t wait to see what you do this year on the channel! I gotta feeling it’s gonna be big!🤙🏻

Sorry about the loss of Timmy. That's truly sad. It's also a shame that the fuel and oil ruined the "point." I'd love to see you remove the top layer of bad soil and replace it with fresh clean soil and plant grass there. Might be good to remove the weeds all around the pond and make it a great family friendly "green" grassy area. Just a thought. Thank you for uploading.

I doubt the cold killed him considering bass live in Canada and all up north where it gets way colder than we seen in that cold front. The flooding may have washed him up and got him stuck or he actually ram out of a food source. Bass can eat alot especially on the warmer days like we had a lot of here.

Lojo you should put a canoe,kayak or a boat with fish finder and go around the pond to check on the fish population plus you should get some Pond Salt,Fish Antibiotics and get several jugs of RapiClear or Accu Clear to put in the Pond to make sure everything is ok and clean everything up it really would help alot to make sure everything is flourishing in the Ponds.

Well LOJO, I concur...the fishing sux right now. All the rain this winter has completely blown out the river I fish mostly. Removed/washed timber I knew out...brought in new timber I don't know ...where it is ( except that I've lost 5 lures in the last month in fairly the same general area.) And you certainly can't see it cuz the river is worse than chocolate milk. And the current is ripping so hard you can't wade out past the knees cuz once you hit waist high, it wants to push you over. So! Hoping it clears up soon. Sorry about Timmy sir

I feel the pain. Had a bass in our pond that grew to 7.4 lbs, my daughter named him Tony. I'd try to catch him like once a year to weigh him and see how he's doing. He died recently. Long live Timmy and Tony

The pine needles and leaves can have a effect on the acidity of the water and how cold it got. You might try putting some sort of water heater in there for extremely cold week's

@Lojo, i think FIN and GIL should be their names. They can have fun with Timmy 2.0 and Jimmy. As for the storage on the bikes get a milk crate or you can use a bucket if you want. Also some zip ties, pvc pipe that can be cut down to put your rods or pew in. A drill and a circular saw. Some tie downs,. Figure out if you want to use the milk crate (i prefer it, or the bucket). When we are done we can strap it down to the bike carrier. But cut the pvc to the length u want it, drill 4 holes to feed zip ties thru and then connect it to the milk crate. Hook it up so its on the outside à the crate, that way u can still store things on the inside. If you want to get fancy you can use a jig saw and cut slots for your reel to sit in. The crate is perfect for sliding tackle boxes in as they fit perfect. You can always toss a bucket in the crate should u need it. And keep in mind if you dont have a crate you can use the pail/bucket u were using. Just dill holes in the pail and feel the zip ties thru or use "U shaped pipe clamps". Great video, even with the loss of our beloved friend. Well we have a bunch more, to take to the little pond and they will be fed extremely well there. You should try hay bales on the edges of the bank to absorb the oil and gas. We use them in the pipeline industry and it seems to work well.

Wow - the backyard pond looks unrecognisable! Have you seen any floaters? Or tested the water for pollution after the oil spill? Hopefully the pond will be back to normal soon. You might want to build a deck over that poisoned land though - or get it dug out and refilled. Otherwise chemicals can seep into the pond over a long period. Great video. RIP Timmy!

Idea about that point. Build an overhanging deck with maybe a three sided shelter so you can hang and or fish even when it’s rainy. Get an inexpensive propane or regular fire pit. Good spot for some chill time.

Water flowed so hard when it rained he was lathargic and got stuck in the waterfall. Bluegill are super hearty man. I've had one in an aquarium for years. Feed the hell out them and they'll get huge. A bass can survive in there. Just needs more structure and what not
