WYATT HEMP grass carp are non native but are stocked in lakes and a lot of small ponds everywhere around the nation. They are stocked to help keep the waters clean and stocked ones are sterile to they can’t reproduce.

I have used their top water frogs and I have caught decent fish on them. I have the jointed swim baits and a couple of spinner baits and they are nice as well. I don't want to oversell them, I'm not saying they're the best out there; but they are definitely worth giving a shot.

Hard to tell by the footage, but they're swimming like sluggish gar. 🤙 Long skinny mouths, then I'd say gar (live or dead baitfish, or sometimes you can use a piece of ⅜" double braided nylon dock line and make a hookless rig to catch 'em 🤙), if they have more of a round mouth they might be bowfin, but from your description it'd be a mega-load of PHAT bowfin. Hope this helps! 👍
@bjcox66952 жыл бұрын
I know you said they're not carp, but they're also acting like sluggish grass carp. If they're grass carp (sometimes you'll see 'em going nuts on vegetation along the shoreline early in the morning), throw bread weightless or with a light Carolina rig to get enough casting distance. 👍
