@THE HUMANIST I was in bharuch district of Gujarat for last 10 years.But I belong to Kerala.I can see the roads in Kerala are far better than Gujarat which is the native state of Modi where Modi ruled for many years and still BJP is continuing.And yeah there may be long term benefits,but only limited to specific areas.We don't want development in few places.we want whole India to be developed.In Gujarat there is development only in places like Ahmedabad,gandhinagar,surat,etc all big cities.I haven't seen a single change in bharuch.It is the same like before 10 years.The only change is price hike and some new shops and nothing else.Do you want this kind of development?India can never be like China.Because 3/4 th of the money for development goes to pockets of ministers.

The bill may be beneficial for the rest of india. But it's a different story here in Northeast. Yes, citizenship is good but not at the cost of the minorities. You know why ST & SC r given special rights? Because we r minorities. Our population is very low in our own state. Most of us live in huts and do farming for survival. Now what will happen if the bill becomes a law? Nothing will happen to mainland india but alot will happen to northeast. We r already suffering from identity crisis because of large number of Bangladeshi that settled here illegally after 1970. NRC was never implemented here. Narendra Modi fooled you and all of us. Now Bangladeshi immigrants no matter whatever bullshit religion they belong to will migrate to the northeast in large numbers & they will be given a land for their home & jobs by government. You know where those lands came from? The lands were reserved for the future of ST & SC by our king & the jobs will be taken away from us. In a few years, there won't be any minorities because all of them would starve to death because of no land, no job & discrimination from bangladeshis. The bill is a different story for Northeast. Please don't stay blind.

If such students are affected by this ideology you can only imagine the other youths. Also you can track this by drastic increase in number of volunteers of Rss and Hindu parishad. After partition Pak, Afghanistan and Bangladesh (East Pakistan) signed a pact that they would protect "religious minorities" in their countries, but they didn't, and those who faced such religious issues came to India. Congress demanded the same citizenship amendments in 2003. For any other country, the procedure to get citizenship in India is same for all religions. Aur bro Hindus can always accept muslims by their hearts, yeh ham sabka desh hai. Kuch aise Hindus hain to muslims ko hate karte hai aur kuch aise Muslims hai jo Hindus ko hate karte hain. Lekin I'm sure that majority muslims and Hindus want to stay peacefully in this beautiful country
