Lokar Shifter C10

The slot in the floor isnt long enough to allow the linkage to move forward as you go into 1st gear, it is hitting the front of the slot at the 2nd gear point. Nothing is missing just enough room for the shifter linkage.

Attempting to find out why my button does not pop all way up. Truck slips into neutral at times, must be adjustment somewhere

It locks in park, push button, pull back to reverse, no detent except in the trans, pull back to neutral, locks in N, push button, pull back to Drive, no detent except in trans, pull back to 2nd, no detent, push button, pull back to 1st. Going forward gently push forward to 2nd, no detent, gently push forward to drive, no detent, push button and push forward to neutral, locks in N, push button and push forward to reverse, no detent, push button and push forward to park. Easy to miss a gear and go from 1st to drive. It's NOT a racing shifter.

I am looking at one of these for my c10 as well. I was wondering how was the installation process? Is this a cable driven version or other? Also what was the issue you were having in the video of missing a gear?

Unfamiliar with the shifter at this point. The shifter has NO DETENTS for the gear positions, only locks in R and P.

I have just purchased the same shifter for a 3 speed and am having the same issue finding the missing gear. Either Park doesn't exist, or you just have to park in neutral with a parking brake. What did you find out?

@@GrandiandSons Might be a long shot but do you know where you purchased this? The only links I see have it mounted on the transmission, not to the floor. Did you make/buy the bracket you have?
