This show, or at least this first episode, is a perfect example of letting passionate people create what they want. This one episode is the best thing to come out of the MCU in a long time! The writing, cinematography, color grading, performances, editing, soundtrack; everything had passion put into it, and it's fantastic!

This 1 episode has some of the best use of time travel/glitching moments of all time, even crazier than the best episodes of Doctor Who. The way that Loki, Mobius and OB were all able to have a 3 way conversation across 2 different points in time blew my mind WHILE also making die laughing. Not to mention the absolutely perfect building of tension in the last 10 minutes, I felt like I was watching a Christopher Nolan movie. And Ke Huy Quan is absolutely PERFECT as OB, hiring him for Loki is one of the best decisions Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios has ever made, and just like Owen Wilson he must be protected at all costs. Also Loki time slipping looks absolutely painful. Like he’s been thrown into a taffy puller and is being ripped apart while turned inside out. Oh and Louise, your are tied with Blind Wave, The Normies, and Kat and Sonny with my favorite reactions for Loki. ❤️❤️

That bit with Loki in the past talking to OB reminds me of a Doctor Who episode from the 80's staring the fantastic Tom Baker as the Doctor. In that episode, The Doctor got separated from the lady who he was traveling with. One of them ended up in the late 60's while the other went to the late 80's. They meet the military officer friend of the doctor at different points in his life and they try to figure out how to get back to each other.

It was Peter Davison's Fifth Doctor in "Mawdryn Undead", and it was Tegan and Nyssa he got separated from, them in 1977, him in 1983, with the Brigadier of each time.

My theory is that Loki was pruned by future Mobius, because the present Mobius picked up the prune stick after Loki time-slipped. And the hunters probably chased Sylvie to the future TVA, thats why she appeared at the lift door

Yes, that whole interaction between Mobius, Loki, and O.B. across two timelines was really well written and very entertaining. Also, I'm really glad Ke Huy Quan got back into acting after all these years as we knew him as "Data" or "Short Round." In fact, I wouldn't doubt that that scene, and his casting, was inspired by his work on that film "Everything, Everywhere, All at Once" due to its many scenes involving characters "slipping" through multiple alternate realities.

What if OB is in on the time-keeper deception? He certainly hasn't had his mind wiped since Kang Who Remains was known to be in charge (and Mobius never got around to talking to him about it). He also wrote the TVA handbook and is, apparently, in charge of the temporal loom, whatever that's for (although, I think I'm going to start calling it the "tempura loom" based on how Owen Wilson pronounces the word "temporal"). He _did_ seem awfully quick to shift his stance from "we need to prune all the other timelines" to "I need time to retrofit the tempura loom", so maybe he is as innocent as he seems. I find it hard, though, to trust super-innocent-seeming characters who know a lot.

Loki falling onto the white flying truck was more of a homage to The scene in the 5th Element where the perfect being falls int the cab of Bruce Willis, but yeah, I too see Anakin jumping out of his speeder to chase the assassin! Love both movies and now this.

Ok first, you are heckin pretty in this reaction 💚. Now as someone who thinks about the workings of time and having watched Doctor Who a lot, the stuff involving time was nice to watch like the conversation at different points in time. Having Ke as O.B. was perfect, especially for the situation the TVA is in, he definitely has main character energy. I feel like Dox and X-5 have been planning this for a while, they were gung ho about Sylvie and the all that stuff. I think there is going to be a war in the TVA.
