This song has been stuck to me since NHL 2005. Last night I got a message from my little sister, she asked me "What was that song we used to listen to when we were kids? Metallic Girl?" Another example of a great album by a single songwriter (from what I understand, the singer wrote the music and the band is hired guns - his old high school friends) I truly think it's better that way. The Strokes is another good example. The first couple albums or so were mostly written by Julian, the singer.

The person/company who has the rights for the song hasnt uploaded it to Spotify. KZbin did not bleep the words out. They were removed by the company so it would be more Pegi-13 so it could be played on radio etc I think.
