Plot twist: The reason why he’s getting approached in the first place is because he didn’t make eye contact and instead walked around like a insecure person. Make eye contact with them first and then walk quickly towards them while saying “hold up, you have a warrant” and they run away…works every time! 😉👍

Embarrassingly enough, I've been homeless a few times for a few years. I've never asked any stranger for money. I have made use of homeless shelters and services, though, but I used them to improve my skills, worth, and to build my money up. I've known many homeless people who "spange" (sit on the corner with a begging sign) and I always looked down on them. Usually they would do it to buy pot or alcohol anyways and they admitted as much. Let me just say that, coming from someone who's experienced homelessness many times, do not give your money to beggars. It does not help them get back on their feet. If you want to help a homeless person, give them a job and pay what you think is fair. Chances are they will the reject the job, though, because it's harder than sitting on the sidewalk with some cardboard than to actually work and they also make much more than minimum wage begging anyways! That's even more of a reason to never give to beggars! It just enables them and gives them a sense of entitlement to your hard earned money! The people who give their money to beggars are giving them the benefit of the doubt when almost every time, the beggar has no real intention of getting a job anytime soon, even if that intention is subconscious. Don't give beggars money! Give them a job if you want to help!

How do you feel about giving them things like food and water? Also interesting insight, glad you commented
