I've seen some people eschew determination, but for me determination is king. It makes such a massive difference in reliability.

Not that it matters now however you can often have your captain/vice captain/influential player talk to a player who is unhappy if he is not willing to talk to you. Also Andrucci 11 goals from 13 starts and Knowles just 12 with 4 coming in one game lol.

Fm22 is harder... sitting here halfway through season 3, having just taken the Sunderland job with them sitting 5th in League One. Previously won the FA Trophy and one promotion with Kettering, before moving to Bottom placed Notts County, saved them, were top following season before I left. Think the issue might be Leamington, maybe time to look for a club with a few more resources

Kev, the Eastleigh situation I've seen before, He was hired on a 1 year contract and they couldn't agree a contract renewal. Most likely he was asking for more than Eastleigh could afford

Wooster is younger, better, and with room to grow. He should be playing. Facilities of this calibre will not allow him to develop at u-23. Also, a captain with that low of determination seems like a crisis waiting to happen.

RE: Interviews. I'm surprised how little you've had. I'm only season 2 after being promoted to the national league with York, at Christmas's I've had around 10 clubs interview me. Didn't get a single job. It's irritating more than anything else, but languishing in midtable this season kind of makes sense why the football league managers keep getting the jobs.

I would have played the new young goalkeeper instead. Same star rating as Blair with 5 star potential. Also the stats looked way more consistent than Frenchs. Don't put him in the U23.

Is this squad really any better? I think it's good enough to get promoted with a bit of luck, but it feels like a lot of turnover without really improving the player quality. Potential chemistry and club atmosphere struggles for a good, not great squad? If Eisa can score a bunch (not really what I expect looking at his history), I think the team is okay, but the weaknesses of some of these players (for example, the left back can't mark) could be an issue. And 5 determination for the captain as Shawn pointed out is a bit scary. I usually look for high determination players and scream at them...seems to work fairly well. I know you don't pay much attention to attributes, but I assume the center back is captain in large part due to his 14 leadership. You don't have to become Zealand, but paying a little attention to a few attributes as well as strengths and weaknesses might be helpful, especially if the game is harder than usual. Looking forward to the Championship playoff final in episode 150 :)

Gotta say all the added content like picking a house just seems tedious tbh, stalls the game out longer for unessacary rubbish, I kinda prefer the older style cm games, but some bits of the newer gen are better, like youth growth lol, on champ man 07 I was like 30 seasons in and most players had high strength and intelligence but absolutely no technical ability
