Except you didn’t actually find or scout the player. Under your rules you only sign players that your staff brought to you, so the club invested in finding the player and now you are taking the player with you to a different club. It's not entirely your fault, but the game should penalize you for this type of shenanigans, maybe with your reputation taking a hit.
