Did you try out Lacuni > Nem's? I feel like the attack speed is so vital on a build like this that it might just out-weigh the extra progression from the spawned in elites.

I was thinking Krelms > Nems personally. Once you get to the higher rifts where fights last a long time, constantly losing your stacks because you keep getting knocked back would probably benefit more than the extra progression of Nems.

I feel like this season will be awesome! Finally you can play whatever you want! You're not bound to specific skills, to a specific playstyle, you don't need sets, you won't be playing like Blizzard wants you to play! The same mistake they did with WoW some time ago by the way.

why use that helmet? would't andariels be better, since u dont really need double rune on vengence.. since u dont need ressources, and that granade dmg from it is nothing compared to the dmg to fire u can get from andariels..

Wait a minute. If Hellcat Waistguard gives 800% increased damage on the final bounce, why would you want more bounces? Isn't it better to have less bounces so that the highest multiplier applies more frequently? Relinquish the 50s for the 800 you know.

its not gonna apply more frequently though, once you get up to speed. Every tick of rapid fire is still only gonna give you one 800% hit, no matter the bounces.

The buff to the Rapid Fire items will apply to NS, but the LoN buff will not so youll need to use the LoN rings instead

How well does the build without all the ancients, that many normal people can't come by anyway?

Judging from the build, it’s damage almost exclusively derives from LoN. All the tanky items showcased will still be tanky with less ancients, losing only 4% mitigation per lack of LoN. Damage however falls fast. There are not many items that can beef the DPS besides LoN. I think only 4 or 5 items improve its damage, only 2 of which are specifically tailored to Rapid Fire

How do you get the starter sets? I started a seasonal this week to see how things work but haven't played any seasonal before.

There's a thing called a season journey, it's displayed in the top right corner with a green leaf icon. It has multiple chapters with 'missions' such as kill X boss on X difficulty or do a bounty run on X difficulty. Some of them reward the set-pieces. (It will say whether it does or not, generally you do the first 4 chapters for the full set.) It works only once per season, hardcore and softcore are not split.

@@Blackbird6 Before you start the game you can select story-mode, adventure mode or challenge rift. With challenge rift selected you'll load in as that week's challenge, with set build, level, paragon etc. You can swap the skills around once in-game. Just make sure to do it on a seasonal character since it's yet again shared on only being available once (per week) and to not do it the week the new season starts until season is live. (Not important for now, but for the new season.)

Am I the only one who is using sets this season and still doing more dmg than I do full of legendaries? My dh with UE multishot set up hits for 12-30B but with a full setup of legendaries I hit for like 300m. 🤷‍♂️

Nizahe Ⓥ sadly no... but when I tried this, I didn’t have any issues with grenades bouncing away from the target like I did on UE Primary grenades. I just start channeling Rapid Fire aiming all over the place (imagine grenades spilling out of every direction... I’m on console) and then everything around me poofs. Start channeling on the rift guardian and they crumble pretty consistently and quickly.

Pushing = NOT because you need to stand in one spot and you'll die too often Speed = NOT because it's slowest DH build Bounties = NOT because it's too slow Farming = NOT because it's too slow... Avenexful it’s actually beneficial to stand still, channel for mantle buff, shadow power for resistance and elusive buff, blade armor for more armor, unity for taking half dmg, vengeance for dark heart buff. All of this on top of legacy of dreams buff, you can tank molten explosions while you continue to stack the dmg of Rapid Fire

Somehow I have 3 Primals for this build, yet 0 Primals or 0 quality Ancients for my UE Multishot. It's like Blizzard is begging me to switch. This just looks so fucking boring compared to Multishot or Impale, which are arguably the 2 most fun builds in the entire game.

It's like 37% CDR for full uptime, but I'd argue you don't need anywhere near that. I'm currently getting by just fine with UE Multishot at only 31% because I can't get the right gear to drop. In Season 16 and in non-season I only have like 34% and that's plenty. I rarely ever notice the 1-2 seconds of downtime. With some skill in timing vaults, globe pickups, and pumping Evasive Fire for F/R, it's pretty easy to get away with skipping CDR entirely on one piece of gear in favor of more damage. That's for Multishot though, not sure about this LoN RF build.

chadv82 trust me I tried this build on console... it’s actually very good! It won’t give you the immediate results that shadow impale gives you, but it’s still one of the BEST grenade builds! UE Primary grenades and marauder grenades feel “eh” compared to this! And this is probably the MOST tankyest builds I have ever played as a DH main! I easily get 1500million defense and I have a unity on so that’s actually 3 billion defense! Just from standing still and using all your abilities

It doesn’t need mobility, it has dmg resistance coming out the roof! As well as moving through enemies, for its slow speed I just use the “tactical advantage” passive to gain 60% movement speed
