The Handy Boy Enhancement came out in 1990 one year after the GB. Didn't look to handy to me & thanks for confirming that. Man, watching you open the original Game Boy sure brought back memories of when i 1st opened mine up on October 16th, 1989! Taito is king of re-using game sprites in there games! One of the main reasons i love buying there games to see which character made it into their newest game! Big into puzzle games so Pop n Pop is on my list now! Thanks for the Game Boy Retro Break!

Delighted that you picked up the GBC Metal Gear Solid and curious to hear what you think of it. That game was my first Metal Gear experience and still holds a special place in my heart. I played/beat PDS for the first time last year. It’s a game I think everyone should play but in no way pay the asking price for! Funnily enough I’m playing Breath of Fire 3 at the moment. I played the GBA ports of 1 and 2 back in the day!

I finished Panzer Dragoon Saga a couple of months ago. It's great if not a bit easy. Great pickup!

I still have that rechargeable battery pack/AC adapter in a box somewhere. The battery is long-since completely spent, though.

Never knew the Tony hawk games were on the GBC, only thought they were on the GBA , the second one was incredible Nice score on panzer dragoon saga, I remember absolute years ago always wanting to bite the bullet on it for £150, looking back I wish I did 😅

I was gonna say £300-£400, but I just looked it up and it’s going for crazy prices, some in the four figures! 😮 I saw it a few years ago for £250, I should’ve grabbed it :/
