Thanks a lot for the shout-out, Nick! Definitely bring out the Camera, it can be a lot of fun.

Oh, you ended up geting Shining Force! I hope you’ll like it, I enjoyed it a lot! Cyborg Hunter is weird but ambitious! I’ve only played it a little, it’s not a straight forward action title. More exploration and stuff. I even think you have to use menus with controller 2… Congrats discovering such a nice gameshop, the selection of games and varied condition of them is a big plus. I think a game like the water damaged Probotector has character. It’s still complete, but it has lived a real life. I love my games with scars just as much as the ones in near mint condition :) Hagane is a quality game! Too hard for me, but it’s fun before it gets overwhelming!

Cyborg Hunter has a very GOOD doom & gloom music 2 it! Alarms go off when enemies approach! Feels like your very isolated when u play it. Has this 1986 Aliens vibe with the enemy detector they use. Downside is the elevator sequence! Elevator Tip: On the top left there is a Red Arrow indicating what floor you are at. You need 2 move that to 2nd or 3rd floor u want to go. You have no control over when the elevator door opens, so u just hang out on a non moving screen & if u miss out when the door opens u have to wait for it to open again to exit.

Super cool finds man! It’s pretty funny that all of those games were so close by when you had been looking for them for so long

Rampage Edition is so good, played it as a kid. But I remember it being difficult to figure out the intro, even after playing the original Genesis game a lot. Wish I could remember so I could share what to do.

Cool finds! Have you played Shining Force 2? I played that over and over again as a kid. And if you want Master System recs, two games that I really enjoyed growing up were Zillion (great music, kind of a Metroid clone) and Miracle Warriors, a pretty decent RPG, though it's very grindy.

Yeeeeeessss!!! You got Shining Force! :D

The first one might not be the best, but there are certainly lots of cool parts in it that you can see how they set some series tropes and character designs are just amazing.

That Nes box could be ironed or pressed carefully (at your own risk) Retro Gamer boy has done this with good results you'll see his guide and other KZbinrs restoring cardboard game boxes easily searched. I've even deconstructed atari boxes to iron then and re-glued👍

I'm too scared to do that!!

I understand 😬 I suppose trying it on a cheaper title is the way to go👍

Not been to hidden chest yet, but I’m planning to! I did visit old skools Pokémon / card shop on the other side of the street and a friend picked some stuff up from there though :)

Hey 🙂 How do you & what lengths do you go to to check that a game is genuine and not a reproduction 👍

In the case of Hagane, the owner had opened it up and showed me the PCB, for others I can tell from the sticker on the cart or print quality, and for GBA games I always look under the pins to see if the nintendo wording is correct

I think the guy who sold all those NES games made another video I watched about 2 days ago. So he must be local to your area.
