This guy has read so many books in prison - it’s so obvious from his vocabulary and how he articulates himself. He also reminds me of a young Mike Tyson - he has a quiet intensity to him and like Mike, is highly intelligent and well read - I bet he has a ferocious temper. That intensity is just simmering.

What a guy, 2 mins in and he is already thanking people, praising faith and humanity. Just shows you that some of us aren’t as bad as the papers and others make us out to be. We make mistakes but ultimately we are still human and go through the same stuff as the next man. Peace and love to you brother!

Well, the papers aren't really relevant, the dozens of people he assaulted, stabbed, terrorised and shot over the years are more relevant in this case. Maybe all the victims misunderstood this guy based on his crimes.

A very intelligent woman told me ypyour head is like a library if you don't keep it tidy you will suffer at some point having been a addict and I've done some not very savoury things it's bloody tough at times now donkeys years later. Today I walk away from bs and I'm ten times the man I was when I thought I was tough, which btw I wasn't. As game as they come but not tough. Funny how your perspective changes totally. 43 and its only been the last 5 years I've started to sort my shit out. I feel very, very grateful for having beaten my demons. The success rate for addiction is between 2 and 5% and tbh that breaks my heart, it really does. I know what some people are going through. When you start to think it would be so much easier to not be here, well, it's terrifying tbh.

I wish him luck. Time served now. Now it's time to spread the word to the youngers that jails a waste of life. I remember him from eagle wing in feltham. He trained playing rugy with officer Mr Gunning. (He was an actual great man he really cared about us as young men, one of the only officers i liked as did many others, he ran bible studies for us too and i still hear his words of advice) The sound of the alarms and officers running to fights was a daily occurrence multiple times a day. We can all make mistakes, its whether or not you learn from them as to how you'll progress in life.

Respect to akhi al aziz (brother) Yusuf (Dwaine Patterson) he is a realist a true compassionate person, even in his youth what I remember of him is his striking good ‘moral - conduct’ and intellect. I believe he could benefit many people as his characteristics is of a leader who dislikes oppression.
