London Underground/Overground at Camden Town/Road stations

This film explores the area of Camden Town in North West London. This area is home to the famous and beautiful area of Camden Market and Camden Lock. It is served by the Overground at Camden Road station as well as the London Underground Northern line at Camden Town station.
The film first shows the area around the Camden Road overground station. The Overground station is on the North London line, which is shared between Overground and freight train services. As such, we observe a couple of freight trains besides the regular Overground services, which are operated by Class 378 Capitalstar stock.
A few blocks south from Camden Road station lies the much busier Camden Town Underground station. The station is a hub on the Northern line where one can change between all four branches of the line: the northbound Edgware and High Barnet branches as well as the southbound Bank and Charing Cross branches. The station has four platforms. The northbound branches have each their own platform, while services for the southbound branches are scattered over the two remaining platforms. All services on the Northern line are operated by 1995 Tube stock.
The last couple of minutes of the film show the bustling Camden Town area around Camden Lock and Camden Market.

Funny story: I took the North London line from Caledonian Road Stn in the 1970's. The guy in the ticket office was an Indian, and it looked like his entire family lived there with him. I said, "Richmond, please." He said, "Are you coming back?" "Er, why, does it matter?" He said, "If you are coming back, it is less fare." Yep, one-way was, I think, 1.70 (pounds), round-trip was 1.25. "Why's that?" asks stoopid me. He throws his hands up, "How should I know, I just sell tickets." I bought the round-trip. I wonder if the return portion is still valid after 40 years?

@wayneburnett5593 You can tell which branch it takes by the destination board saying which major stop it travels through on the different branches. Via Bank or via another stop which I don't remember.

Great video. I really enjoyed reading your comments ;) It seems to me that the tunnel through which underground railway runs is very narrow. What if there was an emergency and passengers were required to leave the train between the stations? What is the procedure in that situation?

LimaAlfaCharlie I've been in an evacuation before. They make you walk the the carriages, through the drivers can and out the front of the train. You then walk along the tracks to the next station or access shaft
