You are a walking Encyclopedia/ Historicus Alice. Ah yes, Sumerset Maugham I recall some of his works. Love tree tree @4:13. Lovely part of London Alice. Enjoyed the walk enormously. The Blue plaques are worth reading. I must make an effort to walk these streets- been a dream for many a year. That sunny walk was a treat on this (again) dreary wet morning. It's always fascinating walking around London and looking at the Blue Plaques as u never know who you'll stumble across.. we walked around here for my Birthday weekend in May on abit of a bucket list visit to the Leinster Gardens fake houses as well as many other places a little off the usual tourist trails, we were also lucky to have a rare warm sunny day and it was lovely looking at all the grand houses and peeking into the private gardens off the main streets.. Shame the Marble Arch was covered up as I'd never been before but I'm sure it will look beautiful when it's finished. Thanks for sharing another enjoyable video us 😊👍

There are so many blue plaques and as you say " you never know who you will come across"! Perhaps I should do some more London walks. There are so many fake houses in London which hide railway tracks etc.. London is a city of surprises.
