I was four when Bob Marley died, 14 when Freddie mercury died and only 3 when we lost John Lennon. So many amazing artists passed in 2016 that I couldn’t list them all here. But I understand the privilege I have to be alive and consume the music of the greats of my time. Coldplay, Adele, Ed sheerhan, MUSE etc..... these are great British musicians who compare in some way to Bob, Fred and John, either by tune, by sheer composition or lyrically.
