I'm only 7.5 weeks younger than Shaun Ryder, but as a U.S. American, I hadn't heard of Happy Mondays until I saw the film 24 Hour Party People at an alternative cinema shortly after it had come out. Now I'm really into the Mondays and all their music. I can't get enough of "God's Cop" and "Judge Fudge" and "24 Hour Party People" and all the recorded and live videos on KZbin.

I am almost 50 mate, when i first heard this song at 14 i swear to you it crafted the rest of my life so far in certain respects. Get your Oasis tickets, turn off your TV's and buy guitars and drums, start making bands in your bedrooms, parent's garage's. Dont just listen try and create even if it comes to nothing i promise you will enjoy trying.

Superb Mondays track and what a great job Oakenfold did of bringing out the hitmakers in them. He puts those bits in that you'd feel on pills. The sound that comes in at the back on 0:47 for example.
