This man is a coward , he ran from that fight and took 11 fully loaded magazines with him. When Muhamed Ghulab found him he still had a magazine in his rifle with bullets in it and 11 magazines strapped to his chest. He used his three teammates as bait. While they were discharging their guns and drawing attention to themselfs this petty coward chose to keep quiet and jump down into the valley.leaving 3 real MEN and hardcore navy seals to fend for themselfs. 11 fully loaded magazines could have made a difference , when fighting 4 against 10. Because they were fighting 10 fighters and not 60 or hundreds. His buddys were indeed calling out for him, probably thinking he got killed because they didnt see or heared him shooting all of a sudden. Because he ran. He came up with al these lies soon as he realised they died and he was the ‘lone survivor’. I hope the families of those 3 brave frogmen realise what a coward and horrible person this guy is and that the real heros left this life that day. And he had 11 rounds in his rifle that’s the facts the man had like 20 wounds and almost died. On top of that Gulab wasn’t present in the extraction, qrf, or any part of the operation. Therefore he can not make any account of him having 11 magazines fully stocked.

You're incorrect. In the combat footage you can hear Marcus Luttrell yelling to Michael, as he was making the sat phone call. "Michael, come back, Michael." "Michael, come back." And nearing the end of the footage, you can hear Axelson talking back to Luttrell, after an initial RPG blast. "What happened?" "Michael?" "Where at?" "We gotta get back" "where's michael?" In numerous interviews given, Marcus stated how he was standing up waiving his hands. How all he wanted was for Michael to come back down to him. Marcus also said Axe was still talking to him, before being separated by yet another RPG. Also, Marcus accurately described the wounds on his teammates. He said Dietz got shot through the head, as he was carrying him. In the combat footage, you can see the exit wound on Dietz's left cheek. He also said Murphy suffered a wound to the stomach, a busted face, and was coated in dust. All accurately described by Marcus. Also, Axelson was found by the locals and was buried. The GBs had to bribe them by building generators, paving roads, and bringing livestock so they would reveal the position of Axe. One of the GBs, Travis Osborn said on the team never quit podcast "he had 1 mag in his kit, and 11 rounds in the mag in his gun." There's also a portion in the combat footage where you can hear a deep Texan tone yell "I'm hit" before a suppressed gunshot. Overall, do some

I think him going to Iraq fits in with some stories of people having survivors guilt where maybe he wanted to go out like his fallen brothers, a war based suicide I guess. Out of 20 SEALs who went in on the mission that day....he was the only one who survived. It was the biggest loss of Special Operations in pretty much the history of US Special Operations....

They fast roped in at 10k feet and had to walk up to 12k where they came across the goat herders..however, they later found out that it wasnt the goat herders that told the taliban. They in fact heard the helicopter and easily tracked there location.

In the total context of events he is no coward. His nervous system was overloaded from seeing his team mates die, and his injuries, and to hear his dying best friend scream his name over and over was what caused him to cover his ears, as he could do nothing about it anyway. He could not have done anything about his death as by that time Murphy was already chest shot twice and taking more fire. Putting his rifle down and covering his ears is all he could do to block out the scenario. Any brain when overloaded with previous events, would do the same. You did your job, and more, operator Luttrell. Salute....

On few military sites some people were speculating he fled battlefield and that is why he stayed alive. You could see guild in his eyes...Hard to tell, me personally would never judge this man cause I was never in similar situation.

Yes I’ve read multiple reports, there’s even a report from the people who rescued him that all his magazines where still full of ammo, also the exaggerated the amount of Taliban enemies apparently it was between 7-12, not 100 or whatever number that Marcus said, seems fishy, glad he made it out though.
