You need to remember that noble six or noble team in general weren't really known. They were ghosts. No one knew who they were. Only halsey and a few other people who witnessed their physical being are the ones who will remember them. It's sad. The dead fade away and are forgotten in time. But only the universe remembers as conscious as it is. Although they will be forgotten, their deeds never will. their sacrifices are an echo of humanities success. Because without noble team, humanity would have lost a long time ago, and their species extinct from the prophets lies.

Amazing story of human sacrifice and will. One day I hope one of the Halo games might explore the theme of the human vs. soldier reality. Master Chief briefly touched on it in Halo 4 about not being human because of the training that destroyed his humanity. The life of a spartan seems like such an interesting subject that we don't even need a game that focuses on the Covenant or Forerunners, but maybe some type of journey of becoming a spartan (or POST spartan) and whether it's morally right to take someone unwillingly to advance mankind to new heights. But that's just my opinion.

I don't think that theme meshes well for an fps eapecially on a series where the player devoid of a personality to allow the player slip in and identify with them. Halo reach did a great job in focusing the narrative on the setting rather than storyline. I cant really think of a way other than what they did for halo 2 3 and odst and reach to actually work. Plus I'm sure bungie has already tossed these ideas around and decided that it wouldn't be a satisfying plotline

I'm here just after playing the mission now in pc and I have to say that this piece of music and the one in the background of Lone Wolf are a pure work of art they almost tell a story, the chants are like an angelical chorus that sings with melancholy and sadness about our last fortress among the stars and the lifes that were lost defending it to the last breath.

Halo Reach is a game that has some of the most resonating effects and was the final fight before a lot of old friends on Xbox disappeared... but I also am one of those fans who thinks Noble 6 is still alive. Because Spartans never die. I feel that during the new battle on halo infinite while on reach the master chief will find a battle torn noble six with rusted armor long hair and a beard in a cave. But just imagine this being a secret style side quest while exploring as Chief on reach and you find Noble six’s helmet and this starts playing. I’m just sayin🙏🏻
